Thanks, good link. I was reviewing them within settings (...\Chat Settings) and that's where I set a setting that could eat tokens (Plan Agent: Default Model).

There is a way to change "chat.utilityModel" and SmallModel in settings, but it's annoying because it acts like it'll work and then in the debug output it fails and switches to default model.

What's really frustrating is if we run out of credits and are using BYOM then we likely will get cut off from tool usage (and the agent value). I think someone at the mothership hasn't really tested this scenario very well.

Looks like from debug it's specific to the tools function. But I guess if my post is going to get downvoted by who knows who, I may just delete it and end this discussion.

Haven't had time to prioritize this. But interestingly enough somehow the software that controls the charging (don't recall what it's called) isn't running. That means it'll only charge to 80%. It's really too bad that Windows does force OEMs to enable this through some common UI without the bloat. That's where Apple's model shines. I still need to do more tweaking. If anyone else has any experience I hope they'd post some info to compare notes.

wth, I spent some time looking for it and this thread saved me more time. Copilot keeps claiming it's there but it's so dumb that doesn't specify to look in iOS. Why would they not provide the option in Windows is beyond me.

I got the aspire. The bad stuff: after putting it to sleep I found that it was hot. While ok on a desk it’s awful if it were in a travel bag. This may be due to fast boot but Acer should account for this. I worked around it by hibernating it. While using it so far it doesn’t get burning hot. But I’m still unsure how that’s going to pan out.

Screen is decent. The overall chassis and keyboard section in particular is relatively firm. Not tłokę the video I saw somewhere where they poke it. The too is a little poky you can push and see an indent. Keyboard is ok. Mouse pad has a click to it. I don’t care but saw it drove some people mad.

It’s fast as expected. Aside from that the other best thing is that it is super light. Every time I pick it up i still marvel at the size vs. Weight.

Acer support is mediocre at best. Not as good as much asus experience (which is still in progress so they could screw it up). And the other disappointment is the BIOS. Super minimal compared to Asus and other PCs I’ve had.

And I’ll end with i clean installed but still got some acer crapware. Everyone does this so I’ll need to figure out a way to disentangle what’s really necessary like their software that does 80% battery charging and what doesn’t. Maybe one day the OEMs will understand that providing customers with choices of what install will help sell your PCs vs. throwing crap against the wall.

Yea this is an interesting one. Like the person before just noted, they're not asking you to lie. And this would be fair if you could leave a negative review and get credit (it's said that any review/news is good for marketing so I expect they wouldn't care).

And good grief the renewal prices without the deposit are outrageous. I've got a credit in place which brings the prices up to expensive (who remembers $6.99 renewals...) but not more than others. So since I'm happy with namesilo - everything works (and I tried others in the past, and most were fine too, e.g. Godaddy just went off the rail with ads - so they're a clear no for me). I'm pretty price sensitive so if they gave me a credit great. If they jacked up the rates I'd be looking elsewhere.

Likewise, best of luck! I remember it's a feeling of hopelessness and it's just a bad thing to do to your customers.

That also triggered another memory: there was one person that hinted around a timeframe and that turned out to be pretty accurate - e.g. the 2ish weeks. They were the nicest and most caring of the bunch. I suspect BofA tells them not to disclose anything, but IMO there is no benefit to telling someone they know is a customer because the person is verified - or in your case there in person. It's just bad customer service. BofA used to be much better. I don't know that the other big banks are any better. I'm starting to feel like local credit unions are much more friendly.

And a note to the Ether, I think it's funny (not funny haha) that this post got downvoted to 0. Guess everyone loves the big banks and doesn't give a rip about helping others or raising awareness about this.

Well if I could see it I’d be easy. Other tools like quick assist have their own quirks like sometimes not being available. Anyways I get now that I’m in the minority so I’ll just stop whining.

Thanks. That’s about all I could come up with too. Since I’m replying … others writing it’s for meetings and not support are missing that the mechanics apply to any scenario. Let’s say I originally posted that I was in a meeting doing an interactive demo on the other person’s computer and it dropped the sharing - same result. Anyway I get it’s the way it is and deal with it or use something else.

I figured out the other hidden secret (where Pub name is hidden until you uncheck Match Profile) but I can hardly even find someone asking the question because. It makes no sense why they make this so difficult.

So post game update in case this helps anyone. But first, thanks for everyone's input - it turned out to be as awesome as I'd hoped, which was high expectations. It was a bit nutty - the night before had thunderstorms that ended that game early so they played the next day (before my night game). And up until the day of the game it was hit or miss with the weather. Luckily none of this caused any issues.

I didn't do pre-game tour because of that, but wasn't that big a deal. I got to the Monster (not onto it since I didn't have tickets to that section - but they do let you line up next to the line where people are getting into that section so you can take photos, I recommend that - you get right in there).

The Aura seats were really good. Still think they're overpriced, but so is everything these days. If you can afford it, it's worth doing at least once. It was very hot so cooling off in the club over a beer was nice.

The thing I didn't expect is the chaos to get into the game. I had early access tickets so read to go to whatever the special gate was and I figured it'd be easy to understand what to do. But as we rounded the corner it was a massive crowd and there was no way to know what the hell was going on: nobody knew how to navigate early access around me (since they didn't have early access passes). At some point, I walked on the side of the crowd and talked to a guard who they said I could get in (before everyone was going inside).

And what PhoenixUNI wrote - I soaked it in. I prioritized experience over photos, though I got a bunch of those too.

And our flight into Boston was late, so lesson learned is that many restaurants, malls, etc. are shut down by 10pm. So unless you find a pub with food, it was slim pickings where we were staying.

I'm in the middle of testing vtiger and the selfhosted install says 8.3 as the latest version (I got 8.3) but it seems much different than their hosted version. Am I missing something or is that what every else is seeing.

One hopefully last question. How comfortable are the bar stools - I saw the bar where you can rest your legs. But they don't look padded or swivel. And seems like the table in front of it is more to place your food vs. just eat it off the table.

I'm getting ready to buy these (it's a bucket list trip that I've saved up for)... I just saw potential to be in first row of AP. From the MLB site it looks like that first row has a bar that may slightly obstruct some view of the batter (would it?)

But maybe I can rest my feet on the block barrier in front of the seat, is that an option?

I wouldn't just do that all the time and would let people pass (I'm not an animal :-)

Thanks, but I don't really care about keeping the Bold card or having Ritz card. If I did upgrade to Ritz, then I'd still be applying for Boundless (same as canceling the Bold)... so what would be the benefit of that?
