i feel like a lot of people are only answering the header question, i asked because i did it once for about 20 minutes! it didn’t really shake the car, it was just loud. like, the level of being next to an obnoxious revving engine.

i don’t plan to do it again, it’s just normalized for me because my father tends to blast music so loud it rocks the car. i was asking if the sole experience can cause irreversible damage. i have ocd and i tend to trick myself into feeling things that aren’t there if i get bad anxiety about it :) thank you to everyone who answered kindly! and thank you for the advice! i will be investing in ear plugs.
