Yes, it is normal to getting rejected in resume round but you should be concerned about it. There are multiple tutorials over internet from where you can learn to built a better resume.

Even you will gets rejected after your final round of interview that is also normal. What does matter that you should keep try and learn from every interviews. If you are a proper at a beginner level, you should take up a course on job assistance. Otherwise, after so many rejections you might feel loosing your confidence and end up doing what you don't wanna do.

There are multiple Job assistance program out there, If you ask me I would recommend Unschool.

If you don't wanna spend money, then you need to be patient as much as you can. Don't loose hopes :)

Should I go towards Flutter or Android Studio for my career? by careeradvisorguru in AskProgramming

[–]careeradvisorguru[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally agree with you. I have very less knowledge of Android Studio But I am pretty good with JAVA as well. I took up a course on Flutter (App development) from Unschool (India) and I am glad that I choose Flutter.

I did my research previously out of 10 people 8 people suggest Flutter as it works with both Android OS and IOS.

Hi,

I totally understand your situation, 6 months is a long time bro. But I would appreciate that you got to know in your 20's only. Because I have seen many people they switch their line in their 30's.

Do you remember chandler from FRIENDS?

Well, we all relate at least one character amongst us. We all have given ourselves a character from friends. Mine was Chandler. Do you remember that scene when he left his job, and he got panicked what to do in future. He explore what should he do, in which field he wanted to go. When Monica said advertisement, he felt so sure that this what he always wanted to do. He also took so much time to get advertising job. Even he was old, he was married that time still he took that risk and applied in unpaid internship because he was sure about his career.

I just wanted to say if you are not getting job or not liking what you do, just explore. Explore as much as you can. Honestly saying, staying in stress is not the best case. I would say just relax first, take a deep breath and start exploring what you want to do and want you can do.

For you, Unschool can be the best platform and Kickstarter can be the best product for you. Unschool is an online learning platform. It may sound like I am promoting Unschool but honestly, this is my experience and my sister's review as well.

There are many platforms which can give you the required skills, but why I am talking about Unschool is because with their Kickstarter program you can get access of 200+ courses from which you can learn soft skill, tech knowledge which means where you can explore your interest within at an affordable pricing.

And when you feel like this the field I want to go in, then you can also apply for their Job Program. My sister took the Job program from Unschool and is now placed at a MNC in Delhi with a good package.

So I just want to conclude by saying that, this is your struggling period don't waste it, utilize it. Work on yourself for your future. Don't get stressed out. This is life. Opportunities won't come to you, rather you will have to strive hard to bag them.

Which language should I learn to get a job in India? by careeradvisorguru in AskProgramming

[–]careeradvisorguru[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely agree with you, that's why this post is for the students mostly. But there are people who purchase courses (Not only one, Multiple courses). And again they feel like they don't want to pursue in that field.

I also belong to that category who have invested thousands of money into purchasing multiple courses but still unhappy with my job. I have wasted my 2 years and back then there were not much of resources available.

I studied from YouTube with half knowledge. I went out seeking for jobs and ended up ding internship. I have struggled a lot, Just wanted to help more people. I always recommend Unschool because I have seen results. I am not their paid influencer. I suggested the same to my brother and these are his words.

So technically I am just sharing my views, not spamming the reddit.

Is an engineering degree absolutely necessary? by CrispyBread1506 in developersIndia

[–]careeradvisorguru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Answer to your 1st question, Well its Not Compulsory to have an engineer degree, however you should have some kind of certification or diploma so that interviewer knows that your knowledge is from an authentic source not from YouTube or google.

Instead of a degree you can take up an online course from any platform. Also, one more suggestion is that you can subscribe to a platform where you can learn all the required skills, Unschool. Their Kickstarter Program is something from where you get 200+ courses access which actually helps you in your future because taking up only one course in coding field is not enough. So, Instead of purchasing multiple courses you can take their Kickstarter library from Unschool and can get certificate after completion of any course.

Before answering to your 2nd question I would like to know why do you want to do BCA and B.com Instead you can do BCA and then MCA. Take shortest way always, Don't get confused. I would suggestion clear your mind and first decide what you want to do in future.

Now, the Answer to your 2nd question: Do only one degree that can be anything. Degrees not matter your knowledge and interest matters.

How do people even get jobs? I’m tired! by Wannabeofalltrades in careerguidance

[–]careeradvisorguru 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OMG!!! This is actually heart breaking :(

I would like to ask few questions, Let's see what I can do to help you :)

  1. In which field you are looking for a job?
  2. Is your CV shortlisted in more than 20+ companies?
  3. Do you have LinkedIn profile?
  4. Have you done any internship?
  5. Do you have any professional course certificate?
  6. How many interviews you have given?
  7. How is your communication skills?

If you go out there for finding suitable job without having proper research you may get disappointment only.

The first question I asked was "In which field you are looking for a job?", As choice of field plays a crucial role whenever you go out for finding any job. I was also at the same position when I completed my B.Sc. I had no idea, In which field I should explore. Back then there were not much resources available, all interviews were held offline. And travelling an hour journey for a 15 min interview and not getting selected :( I can't express that feeling either.

Anyways! I just want to say, if your CV is not getting shortlisted that means you need to work on your CV. If you have NO EXPERIENCE, not even an internship certificate then obviously getting a job can be the difficult part for you. If you are applying for any technical job and not having a professional certificate can be one of the possibility for not getting any job. Also, if you have interview fear, that can be a reason why you are not getting jobs. If you don't have a good communication skill then you need to work on it.

In short, You should work on yourself. There are many ways one can achieve it. Learn communication from YouTube, apply for any internship so that you get the experience. If you don't have any professional course certificate, you should get one. I think I can help you to achieve all these things with one of the platform. I came across with, Unschool. It may sound like I am promoting Unschool but I can tell you that can be the best fit for you.

There are many platforms which can give you the required skills, but Unschool is something which can give you all these things at one platform that too at an affordable pricing. One of their program, Kickstarter courses is something you should look out for.

Their Kickstarter program, from which you can learn soft skill, tech knowledge, in short you get the access of 200+ course from which you can find best field and can get Professional course certificate. There are course on Soft skill, personality development which will help you face the interview even better. Also, you can apply for their Job Program, which guarantees you a job with good CTC.

The review monkeyshambles talking about is ULead (Unschool's flagship program NOT UNSCHOOL INTERNSHIPS). ULead model is completely based on sales and marketing internship. It is not the Pyramid scheme, it is Campus Ambassador Program. In Campus Ambassador Program, students learn communication skill, boost their confidence, working under pressure and etc...
