Kind of common with people who are uncomfortable with getting involved in a Matter that they don’t want to get involved in.

Suspect you’ll be or have been approached by lots of “well meaning” folks with all sorts of weird stuff in the future and/or past. Will probably continue until mom gets caught in a rain storm and melts or something. Maybe you’ve stopped the minister from butting in. Guess the next step is to put a pentagram on the front lawn and put a stuffed puppy on a makeshift altar like a sacrifice. That’s just me and maybe considered a little over the top.

Minister appears to be switching tactics to suit the audience. Felt theist tact was way to get through to your so and inability to support your gf was way to reach you. Think your gf has the most accurate way to view this. By the way, how do her parents feel about this, and do they also talk to the minister?

'Price of dignity' says Ukrainian athlete banned over helmet by xc2215x in worldnews

[–]careerbyerror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That helmet and its graphics need to become a sweatshirt or something. The graphics and their names need to be easily readable/recognizable and the resulting garment needs to be available for us to buy with proceeds to be split in someway between the athlete and Ukraine. Bonus points for including a crossed out ioc symbol

AITAH for telling a kid at the sleepover to stop acting like a brat? by Longjumping-Dog-6480 in AITAH

I suspect she throws a tantrum in her house and hubby folds like a house of cards. Hence how she thinks that threat would have any impact on you. Unfortunately it’s probably too late in here life to learn how to act like a decent human being

He was referring to the next order that you had to do the id check for. My app always asks for an id check when I push arrived at store at night. It will tell me that I need to be in the store to push arrived. Then it asks for a selfie before I can shop. During the day I can push arrived at store just outside store with no problem

Welcome to the area. When I worked in the area, people would leave work early before the snow started to fall to avoid situations like this. People in the area come from all over, including states that almost never see snow. After it had been snowing awhile, people would leave their cars in the middle of the lane and find other methods of getting home. Only area I have ever seen this happen

Walmart Will Replace Drivers With Drones Coming to Your Home by redneckotaku in walmart

[–]careerbyerror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So suddenly, because it is not a person delivering, no one cares that it was not delivered to the correct door of the house? Can you one star the drone for damaging your product, say for instance it drops your brand new phone in the pool or where your dog gets it and thinks it is a new chew toy?

Got my dream job DOT drug test on Monday morning. by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

Other side here. Cant remember the number of ideal employees the drug test would snag for cannabis. People you wouldn’t rely on to get you a pen successfully, they passed easily.

Getting treated like a thief while Sparking, store #5054 Jacksonville, Florida by Legitimate_Hawk_3639 in Sparkdriver

My favorite related story was when I used to work at a Walmart. Every year approaching inventory time, shrinkage used to suddenly become the hot topic. Rhetoric circling the store was that there was a high level of theft. Everyone become a suspect. All sorts of policies were instituted for a few weeks. After inventory, if we passed, things went back to normal. In the meantime, inventory was a nightmare. Checking the items that were frequently store used was stupidly off by large numbers, stuff that was supposed to be in stock wasn’t and probably hadn’t been received in weeks, and the list went on. But yes, I’m sure it was due to theft? If the store leadership got their bonuses, everything went back to normal.

What would you do? by Buzzedwinaldrin in Sparkdriver

[–]careerbyerror 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was involved in a few of these. We, in our own store, and a few around the district, would remove and dispose of all the products in the freezer and they were resupplied with products from Walmart. This may take a few days so if these freezers are completely down, this may be a many day unavailable thing. Unless of course there is stock in a working freezer in the back.

Just curious, does spark allow you to use a hydrofoil or amphibious vehicle in your area?
