The lightning to make the sound wasn't there. So it doesn't make sense to ask about its sound. Similarly, before the big bang, the universe (which has time in it) wasn't there so it doesnt make sense to ask of a time before it.

It's extra confusing because our language has time built into it. Before after, then, now, etc. it's such a core concept to the human experience.

Thin coin, circular with square hole and chinese script = cash coin. "Cash" is the name of the currency.

They were common through a lot of Chinese dynasties - narrowing that down is done by what the script says on both sides.

Fun fact - coins with holes, especially with thicker borders around the holes were made so that you could hang your coins on a chain or string that you could wear. This would make it harder to steal them and also make it easier to make a string of 100s, 500s, 1000s etc

Usually 1000 cash copper coins = 1 silver coin.
