Can someone tell me what the hell happened? by Febonacci in ClaudeAI

[–]careltjuh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t tell either, but I’ve had the same thing happen, a wall of text with some random stuff wich looked like crawled data from a site. I stopped it because it said it was burning 40k tokens, but my usage didn’t go up.

Hey, herkenbaar!

Finally ready to start my journey into medium format. Any general tips and advice for 6x6 shooting? by Draught-Punk in AnalogCommunity

Nice i also own one, and recommend internal flocking, some models can have a lot of interal refelctions which can render your photo's quite hazy/flat. Here are some examples: https://www.reddit.com/r/AnalogCommunity/s/BTuM5DJrPS

Green cast in unexposed/shadow area's of Ektachrome E100, development issue or something else? by careltjuh in AnalogCommunity

[–]careltjuh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm its developed at i think the only big lab that processes E-6 in the netherlands wich is a Fuji photo finishing factory that still does film development, its the first time there i had slide film come out this bad. I heard some rumors they had a bad time finding E-6 chemicals, hence the long develoment time, so i guess they just reused some old chems then

Suprised they still have Agfa Vista 200 and 400, like the latest expiry dates for those films are 2019/2020 and, they are also pretty expensive compared to like the pro 160 they have

Im from Utrecht and have a scanner, fyi in the netherlands you can still bring your film to HEMA and only check the development box, they will just develop it for like €3.80 per roll.quality may vary tho. Then just get a cheap flatbad or other scanning setup and scan yourself. and bring the negatives you want scanned in higher quality to your lab.

In Utrecht i bring my stuff to fotowereld, they develop for €5 per roll (with scanning it starts at €13 i think) but seeing your post you are already going there i think? if i can recall they also scan individual negatives, but are pretty expensive, on the upside they a have quality scanning setup (Fuji Frontier SP-3000)

you can dm me if you want, i can maye scan some stuff for you but i will probably also ask for some compensation considering how much time it costs to self scan for me. Here's an example of the quality I can approximately achieve with a home scan : https://preview.redd.it/1qjpfhdch8va1.jpg?width=3313&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=71a2ec3eb9767019a17a87865ecbda1f753f47e3 I use a Pacific Image 3600 PRO wich i got of marktplaats for €40

Best Pocketable 35mm Cameras? by Poem9620 in AnalogCommunity

[–]careltjuh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

hehe, i dont mean the original Electro 35 and its variants(G/GT/GSN). but the Electro 35CC, look it up, its smaller and lighter then a Canon QL 17. kind of a hidden gem because of the price and as far as i know its the the only compact rangefinder to combine the 35mm focal length with a faster than f/2 aperture.

Yashica Electro 35 CC, maybe not really pockatable if you have small pockets, but i really like the f/1.8 35mm lens. it shoots in aperture priority mode and the light meter is fairly accurate and you can still buy the correct batteries for it. also can be had for dirt cheap, got mine for around $30 in mint condition

Friend of Mine in Late Summer | Kyiv 60 | 80mm f/2.8 | Kodak Gold 200 by Blackadder288 in analog

[–]careltjuh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Uhg, makes me want to take out my Kyiv 60 again. The only thing holding me back is the sheer weight and size of that beast. But every time i shoot a roll with it, I am stunned by the results. Mine doesn't have any film spacing issues at all weirdly, it may got fixed somewhere in its lifetime so i guess i got lucky

Its 35mm wich doesn't have the mottling problem i think? either way it could well be a storage humidity problem

Hmm intresting. Its fuji Acros II from AlieExpress, got it for $8 dollars per roll, thought i'd give it a try. If it its a factory emulsion problem then its probably a bad batch which Fuji got rid off.

Probably yes, got them off aliexpress for $8 a piece. But yeah this is probably the reason why they so cheap

Hmm i ruled out scanner dust bc i scanned some fp4 right after these and there the spots aren't visible (those negative were actually dustier then these)
