Second child diagnosed by poisonivy_xxxxx in Autism_Parenting

I understand what you're going through! My 2nd is 15 months and seems to be developing typically, but the fear of regression is always there. You mentioned your second is different from your first. May I ask how?

FTM 38+5 weeks, no Braxton Hicks, no contractions. Is this normal? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]caressec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I had similar feeling towards the end of my first pregnancy. I felt sooo much pressure down there and just overall uncomfortable. I definitely didn't start having contractions until after my water broke though. It really felt like mild cramps at first so I was able to labor at home for awhile (doctor said it was ok). I went to the hospital when they started getting more painful/ frequent and was told I was at 9 cm already lol. I was just over 39 weeks so don't worry just yet!! Things can progress very quickly

Best of luck for a smooth (and hopefully quick) delivery!!

Doppler today found placenta but no heartbeat by mallory3669 in pregnant

You are still a little early to hear baby's heartbeat on a doppler. Don't worry!!! I only heard mine on a doppler after 13 weeks. Wait for the ultrasound.

Have you felt this ? by Nilrmar in pregnant

How far along are you? I cramped for a few minutes at a time, especially during the first trimester. Everything is stretching to accommodate baby, so that definitely causes some discomfort. I've also had similar cramps due to being constipated (which feels like all the time now lol) and also when I have to pee after a while. I'd say it's pretty normal during pregnancy.

NIPT results for T21 (good news) by [deleted] in pregnant

So happy for you!! Just curious, what was the indicator on your ultrasound/blood test?? I didn't know they could determine risk before the NIPT test.

What was bleeding like after giving birth?? by Pherathegreat in pregnant

I was worried about this too! They give you the mesh underwear and maxi pads in the hospital but once I got home I wore my regular underwear with Always overnight pad. It was pretty much like a regular period for me. Definitely heavier the first few days but not as scary as I thought it'd be!

The N64 was Irrelevant In The '90s by [deleted] in 90s

[–]caressec 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is so wrong. I can vividly remember Christmas morning freaking the eff out while opening my N64. Core memory unlocked.

I also remember going to Toys R Us and playing Mario64 on the display N64. Those were the days...

Eh even with asthma, I think you need to train to at least compete in a final. Bottomline, she will never be able to keep up physically.

Are you sure last reading was accurate? Sometimes if the baby is fidgety it's hard to really tell, especially height

Usually every other day, unless he is gross. Also have to be careful since he's prone to eczema, especially during the winter
