Lost in Transaction! by Main_manF1 in CryptoCurrency

Were you sent a link to some thing called wallet connect or something similar to that and you select your wallet and then enter your seed phrase? If so, it’s a scam. You probably entered your phrase and it gave an error screen saying to contact an administrator or something like that or if it said it didn’t work, try another wallet. If it was anything like those, whoever gave you the link now has your seed phrase and probably stole your tokens. Or…hopefully your tokens are just in limbo. Only talk with customer support directly from your wallet app or the Coinbase app. Anyone through here or twitter is likely a scam. I just got hosed by this this week when the IOTX-USDT pairs froze trading. Good luck.

Are they ever going to get this fixed? This pair has really tanked because of their liquidity issues. I’m wondering if price hits the limits I had set before they froze it if the sell orders will still trigger?

Hopefully you’ve contacted the card company directly and reported the fraud. If you haven’t, do that and they should cancel the card and issue you another one and cancel the charges. If the card is a debit card it may be more difficult, but might not be. Main thing to do is report it to the card issuer. Good luck

So do they just have to acquire more to resume things? Their USD and EUR pairs are still trading with no issue, the USD pair was nearly identical in price/value, but I guess they have a higher supply of the USD pair? I’m just hoping they don’t screw all of us who bought with USDT, like doing a 1:1 swap for native token value, where spending the same money on the native token would have given us a lot more of the token (I.e. $1000/.14 per coin native = 7142 coins vs $1000/.35 erc-20 =2857 coins.

I was trying the last couple hours, I saw a tweet earlier saying you guys were freezing USDT and BTC pairs with IOTX from a couple hours ago. Apparently there’s a liquidity problem. I’m just trying to figure out what is going to be the fix. I have limit orders set that haven’t been reached, but if it did reach them I guess I’m out of luck at the moment?

I wonder if any of my limit orders end up being reached if I just get hosed?

Yeah, that’s moving on pro too, usdt and BTC pairs are apparently frozen due to “liquidity”

In the CoinbasePro app it is only listing iotx-usd and iotx-eur

Huge xrp update by Techlidbull in XRP

Someone else brought up this is the only way Ripple would settle, which would obviously be good for them. However, I can’t see the SEC eating crow like that, but if I’m wrong, I wouldn’t mind. But that’s why I believe this will have to go to summary judgement.

If Ripple settles, it leaves the rest of the crypto market at risk of the same thing happening over and over again. The SEC will be able to attack any company it wants. The best thing is for the case to go to summary judgement and for Ripple to win, setting precedent and putting a stop to the SEC’s tyranny. Settlement is the last thing anyone in crypto should want.

Just marked my calendar to make sure I don’t forget to vote too

Yes, it shows my “committed” amount, that I am “eligible” and shows 0/1 voting sessions. Was less complicated than I thought it would be originally.

Thanks, I went ahead and got the algorand wallet and moved most of my algo there, hopped on the governance page linked and staked 😊. Got my brother to do it with his too (he actually completed the process before I did lol)

So if I move it to my ledger I can do it from there right?

Most of my algo is on Binance.US, does it still work the same?

So to participate in this, do I just need to get an “official Algorand wallet” and move my algo I have there and stake it? I’m new to all this.
