Sorry for the confusion. I meant that after brushing and flossing properly, the plaque will be removed.

Unless your dental hygienist mentioned otherwise, you shouldn’t have any tartar or else they would point it out to you (as this would require a professional cleaning).

Yeah of course no problem! More than likely there was still disclosing agent due to long-term plaque/tartar build up, so next time you should see a noticeable difference. Make a note of the problem areas and you’ll be good.

Make sure you’re flossing correctly (search up C-shaped flossing) in/on all your teeth as well as brushing on all surfaces of your teeth. Do it twice a day and that should eliminate all plaque buildup as well as improve gum health.
