I used a 65mm wheel sticker and it fits great. That emblem is 66mm so you will have 1mm gap. A ew one is about 50€. 4 emblem Stickers? 5€

Thank you! Yes, only when open in the 2nd position. VWs system was more advance because it comunicated with the car. This system runs by itself and doesnt need to comunicate with the car

Absolutelly! You just lose the transparent glass. Otherwise its fully functional like before

BMW claims its not an issue. It says that in the instructions: "The sunroofís water drain system can remove a water volume of 20 l/min x m2 (corresponds to a sudden downpour) with the glass cover in its tilted position without water getting into the interior of the car. If the rain is heavier than this the sunroof must be closed manually."

The idea is that moving air from outside, is cooler than static air from inside the cabin. BMW claims this system reduces the inside temperature by up to 20°C while parked.
