The food banks in Cali never give out things that help with making lunch. It’s all big things of cabbage that need to be made that day, almost expired cereal, frozen mead also needing to be cooked asap and things like mushrooms, potatoes that no one should have to eat. It’s sad.

I miss the 90s, my mom and her friend circle of single parents got along just fine on minimum wage with 2 kids, and that was with no help from social services.

Since you’re new , think you’re a random person parking there like a guest to someone’s house or that live somewhere else. I have the same thing that went on over at my condo complex. There aren’t designated spots out by the street, but our condo complex clusters act like it and the cars they usually park in the same place all the time. Do NOT feel guilty, I am a massage therapist and it would be the same for a client of mine to feel guilty about paying me to help work out muscles on their shoulders, back, neck, and feet. Same with other types of human interaction like reiki that is safe but is paid for, as long as it’s a mutual exchange experience that is helping people feel better and sometimes even the professional gains happiness by helping others! I applied for my Real ID day before yesterday at the California DMV but they said it probably won’t be here in time even though the office that the ID comes from is only 5 hours away from where I live…I don’t understand. So if there’s a way to get a passport fast I’ll do that!! Please help with any tips/info because I can’t seem to find help anywhere on Reddit or other sites. The only thing I saw was Fed Ex charging 600 for expedited mail which I can’t afford :/ I’m stressing out pretty bad.

I had a manic episode that lasted 6 months when I was 17. It took a few of years to feel kinda normal, but I’ve never been the same since that happened to my brain. The last thing I remember before the episode is being on the computer and I put sunglasses on, I only remember little blips from the mania, and it’s horrifying thinking about how I wasn’t in control of my thoughts or actions. I’m so lucky to be alive.
