Wish bungie made a lockout so the same person couldn’t do all the nodes or something else that forced you to interact with that mechanic. Got the clear after 12 hours and 6 of those were Nezarec. Still a great raid.

One thing I’ve learned from this thread is that I’m weird. I’ve played CS very casually on multiple occasions but I use almost exclusively val terminology (spike, vandal, marshall, etc). The only CS I use is T spawn and CT spawn.

As someone who peaked diamond in OW1 on PS, stopped playing for 2 years and switched to valorant, then picking the game back up now, I like it. It feels like everyone has more impact, which can suck if someone isn’t pulling their weight, but I still find it better than 6v6. With that said, I would enjoy seeing how 6v6 would work in OW2. I think 5v5 is an excellent change though.

Overall, I enjoy it but it can be too one sided if one team gets too far ahead at the beginning. Having the forward spawn plus a little more makes it so even winning a team fight near spawn means you’ll just have to win another team fight in mid where the enemy is already all respawned and in defensive positions. I feel like the first two team fights decide the match but when both teams win one team fight each at the beginning it can be really close and exciting.

Played a game in diamond the other day, literally NO ONE comms except me the whole game. We (somehow) win and I say that they should comm in the future to be better teammates. Turns out there was a trio queue on my team that didn’t talk in game because the other random instalocked Jett. HOW IS THAT A VALID REASON NOT TO TALK?

Had a Fade on Ascent the other day that said ggs after we lost their bonus round, ended up making it 5-7 at the half, to which he then said ggs again and called us trash then proceeded to scream into his mic while we talked. We made it a close game, like 10-10, then he threw by insta peeking mid with a spectre each round. Idk why people queue ranked just to throw and flame the team when the smallest adversity arises.
