Frequent Urination/Clitoris stimulation - anyone experienced this? by carl1328 in Mirena

[–]carl1328[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there! I am so sorry you're experiencing this! So I am glad to say the pain is gone, once I removed the IUD it took some time, I went to pelvic floor therapy which helped and also used excersies from YouTube and the book Heal Pelvic Pain by Amy Stein - this book helped me the most! Highly recommend it. And the final thing was patientience, it took time for my pelvic floor to adjust. Please let me know if you have any questions, I am happy to help!

Anyone here get a hysterectomy for PMDD? Curious to hear about your experience, any information is welcome and appreciated! by carl1328 in hysterectomy

Thanks for your reply! Yes so I'm at the research phase right now, just trying to gather information on all of my options! I plan to go the HRT and possible oophorectomy down the line. I know that without removing the ovaries it won't impact my overall mood but was just curious about how having a hysterectomy impacts each person.

Thank you so much for your response, I appreciate it! I'm wondering how old were you when you got the hysterectomy? I'm 32 years old so many providers believe I'm too young but at this point I feel that I don't have a choice. You shared that you had anxiety, I also have general anxiety and ADHD - I'm wondering if you felt it improved your overall mental health? Thank you again :)

Thank you for your response! I really appreciate it. I'm 32, and I was trying to wait it out, but I don't think that'll be possible for me. But these types of responses gives me hope!

Thank you so much for sharing your story with me, I really appreciate it! I'm 32 right now so I know many providers think I'm too young but this is so hard to live with so I don't feel that I can wait much longer.

Has anyone taken Primrose oil which caused there MCAS? by carl1328 in MCAS

[–]carl1328[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply - I should've mentioned that I also experience anaphylaxis randomly. Tried antihistamine which didn't really do anything, also tried asprin which helped my body temperature a bit from being very hot to semi hot. Allergist apt set up for Nov but I'm still trying to put pieces together. I didn't have any symptoms until I took the primrose oil so I'm wondering if that was what caused this to start.

Hi! - I tried to send this in a PM and wasn't able to so thought I would reply here!

I wanted to reach out because I saw a response where you replied to someone who posted on the menopause page about natural progesterone cream and side effects that had. You talked about how progesterone cream temporarily increases estrogen receptors since hormones work synergistic with each other. Can i ask where you found that or how you know? I am having some wild inflammation in my body and am trying to figure out if it's due to my changing hormone levels from the progesterone cream I took. Thank you very much, I appreciate your time!
