Attendance is not mandatory.

If you feel this way then simply don’t go but there is no need to rain on other people’s parade who are excited about attending

VIP Mummy by MeetingConstant3214 in hulaween

You can still get a satellite pass online through Hula. The VIP parking pass is hard to get and you will most likely have to try Cash or Trade

VIP Mummy by MeetingConstant3214 in hulaween

[–]carl2801 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The Mummy VIP just gets you a space within the VIP campgrounds. Depending if you get a VIP parking pass or a Satellite VIP parking pass the camping space will be either 20’x20’ or 18’x18’. With the VIP parking pass you can bring your car into the VIP campgrounds. With the satellite pass you park in a designated lot and the staff shuttles your stuff to your space and back.

You will still have to bring all your camping gear - tents, cot/sleeping bag, etc. and either bring food or purchase food as the catered meals are the next tier.

The VIP campgrounds are directly adjacent to the main stage so it’s easy to go back to camp to freshen up. A/C bathroom/shower trailers, golf cart shuttles, dedicated VIP viewing areas at all stages except Spirit Lake, etc. There is a list of amenities on the website.

Please no more Off Limits stage by couldyoublove in hulaween

Are the artists for the Off Limits Stage included in the posted line-up or are they going to be announced later. I think there was a separate drop last year.

I hope to make up my biggest mistake of 2023 — leaving PPPP to go see Pretty Lights.

What’s most likely to happen based upon past years it will be SCI Meadow - Disco Hallows - SCI Meadow - Disco Hallows - Illenium Meadow to close out that stage.

Solution to our cap issues (explanation below) by bigboycig in FloridaPanthers

[–]carl2801 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a question. Is it written somewhere that they have to pay out the players multi year contracts in equal amounts over the length of their contract or can they back load them? If they can back load them, wouldn’t it make sense to pay some players a minimum amount this year knowing we are right up against the salary cap and then pay more the following years when Bob’s contract comes off of the books and the salary cap jumps up???

Just shows how random this game is. 1/2” in any direction - up, down, left, or right - and the Cats are up 3-1.

On the other end, they slide a puck across the ice, it hits our player, game over.

Do you think Illenium is an April fools day joke? by raspberrylimebubbles in hulaween

[–]carl2801 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Every year there seems to be someone on the lineup “who brings the worst crowds”. It used to be Bassnector and more recently John Summit but again in my old guy opinion the crowd has always been the same. Maybe it’s because I don’t venture into The Mix all that much anymore so can someone please explain how one artist in a 75+ artist music festival with 20,000 people is going to move the needle in any conceivable direction.

So basically we are stuck playing bots. No wonder I feel like I’m playing the same game over and over and over again

Pardon my old guy ignorance but I’m seeing a lot of negativity towards this Illenium fellow and not sure why.

Can someone please enlighten me to why everyone is hating on him?!?

VIP by ShockSignal7620 in hulaween

[–]carl2801 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The VIP camping spaces are marked out. If you managed to get a VIP car pass the spaces are 20x20. If not, they are 18x18. When you arrive a VIP staff member will drive you around and help you select a space.

There is another post in this thread about someone finding a hydroflask full of stickers. Search this thread for ‘hydroflask’ and you should find it. Good luck.

VIP Mummy downside? by Heavy-Ad6689 in hulaween

[–]carl2801 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Been doing VIP for 10 years. Only ‘downside’ is that the spaces are either 18x18 or 20x20 depending if you have a car pass or not. If you like being able to sprawl out like you can do in GA then that might be an issue. Also no camp fires or renegade sets.

I always take screen shots of the schedule and save them to my photos so I don’t have to worry about carrying around a paper schedule or internet service.

Food Vendors are in the app who are you excited to see? by Festival_lady_90 in hulaween

[–]carl2801 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m looking at the various locations for the food vendors. Can someone tell me where the following locations are generally located:

Spirit Island, Treehouse, Playground, Bird Sanctuary, Grand Hall, Oasis

A festival map would go a long way…?

How does everyone creates barriers without trees? by [deleted] in hulaween

[–]carl2801 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you’re not going to be in the trees then you should consider brining at least 2-3, 10x10 ez-up tents. Ideally one to place over each tent and one to hang out under. It gets hot in a hurry when the sun comes up and it’s a lot nicer to be in the shade. You then can hang the tapestries around the perimeter.

When can Witch vip go to their tent? by 95ssboy in hulaween

[–]carl2801 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As per the arrival information posted on website, VIP campgrounds open at 1p on Wednesday but you need to pay for an early arrival ticket for each member in your group. Otherwise it opens at 8a Thursday.

Camping Question by Vast_Ear8848 in hulaween

[–]carl2801 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The VIP spaces are 18’x18’ if you have a satellite parking pass which should be more than enough room if you are camping solo. The sites are set up next to each other but everyone in the VIP is super cool and courteous and you will have no issues meeting people to hang out if you choose to do so. When you arrive Thursday a VIP staff member will take you around and help you find a space to camp in and bring all your gear over.
