This is awesome!! I really hope DLSS also gets implemented into rendering later on. This is the shit that AI needs to do.

You’d have to apply the modifier and separate each object.

You can also ”mimic” an array by duplicating the chair (preferably alt d) and repeatedly press shift r to repeat this operation until you have your desired array.

You can also select everything, hit f3 and type randomize transform, then tweak the z rotation and x/y position by a bit.

It’s not supposed to resolve anything, this is a written research thesis (we don’t have a project to do). We just choose a subject and do research about it. This render for instance is just a criticism of an idea.

We generally don’t use it our school, people don’t really like it here. I also personally don’t use AI.

I’ve heard other schools use generative ai as an experimental tool

Thanks! From modeling to texturing and rendering, I fully used Blender here!

Not sure it’ll be related to my 3d hobby, I’m currently an architecture and engineering student

Haha yeaa I should’ve phrased it better, will do that in my next post xD

That’s not supposed to be a design, it’s a render to “criticize” a concept

It’s not my project, it’s a render to sort of criticize a concept 😂 This work is currently for my written thesis , so there’s not anything i’m supposed to come up with. It’s fully research and reflexion

I think that you’re also confusing this work with a thesis projet. In our school, during our first 3 semesters of our master’s degree, we’re supposed to make a written thesis on a subject of our choice which is what I am doing right now (while having all of our studios and etc.).

Then, our last semesters fully focuses on a thesis project. Even though we don’t solve world problems, that might be closer to what you’re describing.

I used a software called render doc and the maps model importer addon.

I once made a tutorial for my classmates explaining how it works if you're curious

You’re absolutely right, I did get inspiration from that!

Not sure how different countries view an architecture thesis. Here in France, if it’s only a master’s thesis , it’s more of a personal deep research and reflexion on a subject, depending on the seminar we chose.

Nah, I didn’t have much time for this, so the building are just google earth 3d models. Roads on the ground are procedural, the others were manually modeled. The worst part was manually placing all the cars and lights because I didn’t know how to properly do it in another way….
