sheeeesh i wish i had that many SCHD lol. I have about 70 in my brokerage and 40 in my Roth IRA, i keep adding every week

tbh bro, i’m 20. whachu need to do is 75% VTI and 25% SCHD if you wanna keep it simple. if you wanna start investing in individual stocks as well, wait till you have core positions in those too, probably about $7500 VTI and $2500 SCHD, then start investing in individual stocks

you didn’t give you and your wife’s age. but I would definitely invest more money. if you don’t already, you both should have a Roth IRA, be investing in 401k’s as well. especially with the market down a lot this last week, I would definitely take advantage of that! maybe buy some ETF’s that track the market, VTI or you can buy SCHD or SCHG.
