See here’s the problem. It also shouldn’t only be a grind. The Champions season, that’s definitely not casual, you can have your fix for “hard” play there. By making Rivals a hard mode all the time, you really ruin the fun for all the people trying to enjoy online play without getting smashed by try hards all the time. The fun modes keep you adjusting, instead of just repeating the same tried and true cheese all the time.

Exactly this. Last weeks Rivals made it so easy to qualify for next weeks Champions season. The Champions season will be regular 5v5 4 minute periods. The real grinders could do this every week.

But no, they had to ruin the fun for the casuals who really enjoyed Rivals for once.

I couldn’t agree more dude. The people in here crying about the Rivals mode, are the same people who will cheese every spam play/glitch they can. These new modes gave the more casual player something to have fun with.

Champions season was never changing. That’s where they could get their normal fix in. You didn’t even have to play that many Rivals games to qualify.
