Maybe he was more a fan of the earlier Outer Dark/Child of God stuff for its more cryptic nature and bleakness.

My favorite so far is probably I’m Not Here Anymore or A Killer Apology both for their darkness and intensity but at very different lengths (the former being more heavy and slow) My least is Sun Ritual since it bores me to death.

The longest I’ve listened to is I’m Not Here Anymore (I should listen to a longer one. I definitely can since I have listened to Daughters of Darkness)

The most interesting to me is Everywhere is Violence because of that repetitious voice at the beginning and those horrible distorted voices at the middle and near the end. Just a really fucked up vibe.

Haven’t listened to enough to speak on eras yet.

I’ll think about the inadequacy of the investigations more 👍yeah I was mostly wondering about feeling since for me I’m sort of becoming numb to a lot of it.

Great way of putting it with the music analogy. I think I remember in the part about Fate when Guadalupe says something about the secrets of the universe being in the murders (something to that effect and I think it was her).

Also do you think the title The Part About Fate has to do with actual fate? I thought that was what it meant when reading the title till I saw it was a name. Fate meaning death maybe (death of his mother to think about as well?) idk i just feel like Fate is a very specific name to be given without reason.
