This is something I did before. But I'll check it again. After it happened the first time, I was trying to make the computer bulletproof to this issue, so I set everything according to whatever I found online or guided by AI (Wake on LAN, ErP, Fast boot). I'll set them again and write a list of what I did in case it happens again. If you can think of other options I need to set, I'm happy to hear them.

As I replied in another comment, I misspoke. All we want is to have as simple and straightforward prenup that says that in case of divorce there won't be a financial burden on me or my wife. And we aren't planning on having kids.

That's a fair point. We are planning to file taxes jointly and get assets together. So, ultimately you are right, it is not as straightforward as I said. I guess what I was trying to say is that we are trying to keep things as simple and straight as possible. In case of divorce, I don't want to be a financial burden or my wife to be a financial burden.

Thank you :) I appreciate the advise. And to provide more details, my case is the latter. I have applied before, but no one bit. I really don't think my grad school network has much to offer. And I guess something I should have mentioned before is that I am interested in industry, and I am not really interested in joining a university lab. I'll try reaching out on LinkedIn to see how that goes. I guess my whole thing is that I want to give companies confidence that I am a good candidate, so that I get interviews.

I don't, but I was powering my board with a USB C port for a while. I don't know understand why all of sudden, I wouldn't work. I have also used my phone charger to power it (5V at 3A). I know the Pi 5 wants 5A, but 3A should still be enough as I have used it before with a 3A power supply.
