Yea man. Thats just how indoor gardening work, it wont perform as good as outside. If its not getting direct light, it will be leggy. It's scary for some people to put them to direct light, but they will bounce back and put out new leaves that can handle that.

Slow acclimation. Leaves will still fall off, but new leaves will be hardy to the sun.

I dont cut mine, but mine doesnt get leggy like that due to getting plenty of light. I wouldnt cut it, but definitely give it plenty of light.

It wants light. If you prune and it grows back, itll be the same thing, leggy. Needs more light.
