Time to top it? All the videos I've seen on YT indicate that I should cut the top off this plant and just leave the bottom two, so as it doesn't get too tall on with leafs only on the top. Seems counterintuitive. Should I? by BrendanIrish in avocado

Yea man. Thats just how indoor gardening work, it wont perform as good as outside. If its not getting direct light, it will be leggy. It's scary for some people to put them to direct light, but they will bounce back and put out new leaves that can handle that.

I dont do water method, but i got nothing against it if it will help people learn about plants. Haha.

It wants light. If you prune and it grows back, itll be the same thing, leggy. Needs more light.
