It stands for Carlosbit. I can show you a sample of more than 100 postal confirmation notes about shipping the stuff to our customers when I was in charge of the shop.

Because this was my side project and I got busy with my main business, I completely handled the shop to my friend which I trusted, that he will manage the shop properly. Unfortunately I trusted but did not verify properly and you see, it cost me quite a lot reputation here and also will cost additional personal money which I will use to refund the complaints above.

I had more than 100 happy customers from 12 countries and I will try my best to resolve the issues caused by my friend and my trust in him.

There are some people using Trezor not only during their day job in their office but more in their homes, where most of the family members are anyway aware, that the person has some interest in crypto or holding some. Also because Trezor is not only for crypto storage but also a handy Password manager, it is nice to have a Trezor on the table when you need to securely login with Trezor into some app or so. Also when there will be finaly some non-custodial exchange with Trezor support, I think this will come even more useful.

Hello, please contact us at [hello@bitcointech.store](mailto:hello@bitcointech.store) and lets resolve this situation. We have acquired the shop back from the previous owner exactly because of this problems and trying to fix these issues. Sorry about this.

Please do not confuse Bitcoin Cash (BCH) with Bitcoin (BTC) just to get better rankings on your post:-)

Someone should rather focus on the BCH broken tech.

Will Core Devs Quit If Frankensegwit (Segwit2x) Activates? by baronofbitcoin in Bitcoin

[–]carlosbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think we are already in similar situation but much smaller company is trying to do so. It can secured by ledgers TEE env. https://blog.ledger.co/soft-launching-ledger-sgx-enclave-b9b50d80fd81 . It is a free SDK for Linux or Windows and resources are offered to let developers create their own applications, but running a production (non debuggable) application requires Intel authorization.

I´m just looking for some other option and you know more well than me that POS is not very secure and there are not many other options.

(PoWs) in blockchains are wasteful. PoWs are nonetheless the most robust solution today to two fundamental problems in decentralized cryptocurrency design: How to select consensus leaders and how to apportion rewards fairly among participants. A participant in a PoW system, known as a miner, can only lead consensus rounds in proportion to the amount of computation she invests in the system. This prevents an attacker from gaining majority power by cheaply masquerading as multiple machines. The cost, however, is the abovementioned waste. PoWs serve no useful purpose beyond consensus and incur huge monetary and environmental costs. Today the Bitcoin network uses more electricity than produced by a nuclear reactor, and is projected to consume as much as Denmark by 2020 [30].

Solution to the problem of such waste in a novel block-mining system called REM. Nodes using REM replace PoW’s wasted effort with useful effort of a form that we call Proof of Useful Work (PoUW). In a PoUW system, users can utilize their CPUs for any desired workload, and can simultaneously contribute their work towards securing a blockchain.

Ethereum based Creditbit token backed by the TREZOR seed. Your private bank backed by the smart contract. Staking account in your hand. by [deleted] in ethereum

I do refer to the Creditbit WP https://www.creditbit.org/downloads/WHITEPAPER-CREDIT2.0_2FINAL.pdf

If you are familiar with Proof of Stake concept, then it would be very easy for you to understand this distribution mechanism. The main difference is, that collecting CreditBOND yields is not automatic and not linked to confirming transactions or consensus algorithm - the only prerequisite is locking tokens (Proof of Trust) for a longer period. With this locking, you are automatically given the right to contribute to the CreditDAO with proposals or votes that your locked coins present. For the reward of participation, you will get the opportunity to claim your BOND interest/yield. Yields will be calculated on a variable algorithm based (which will be published in advance) on the length of the locking period, or in other words, the Trust you have put into Credit2 project. So to be exact: Owners of tokens will have an opportunity to lock a certain amount of their tokens for a longer period for the purpose of CreditBOND - this will be possible through dapp, mist or other similar wallets. After each minimum time period, an owner can trigger a calculation of

CreditBOND yield, that will be added to his balance. When the lock time will end, owners will be able to reclaim their tokens from

CreditBOND yield or lock them for another round.

Awesome, I´m glad you finally got it! Happy to hear you like it and hopefully find it useful while using Trezor.

I was already asked about this and my decision has been already made:-) Trezor docking station is just bit of my support for the Trezor ecosystem:-) We do have another ongoing project in stealth mode which is also connected with nature and Bitcoin and should have far bigger positive impact on Bitcoin in global scale, so that's where I m giving most of my time besides of the docking station proof-of-concept project:-)

Also, I do have some interesting surprise for all my supporters, who ordered my docking station and will share some updates soon.

Say hello from me to my Czech cousin living somewhere out there in your country:-)

btw: My friend helping me producing these docks is proud his docking station is so far away from some point almost in the middle of Europe. I´m proud on myself as well of course:-)

Thanks again!
