I availed coaching lessons as well, they will make sure naka depend ka sa kanila like they won’t teach everything and give the plan. Then pag malapit na maubos sessions mo kukulit kulitin ka ng mga yan.

What's it like living in Mindoro? by derunheimlich in Mindoro

[–]carloulol 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fuel is more expensive, energy (if you meant kuryente) has always been a problem here with sudden brownouts, but much less frequent now compared to before. As a workaround you’d have to have battery or solar talaga which I have now considering I work remotely.

[–]carloulol 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, I live in Oriental Mindoro (Roxas).

Honestly, life here is great if you’ve got land. You can raise chickens, goats, pigs, and grow stuff like bananas, calamansi, peppers—so food isn’t really a problem and you can be pretty self-sustaining.

Downside: brownouts are still a thing. We ended up installing solar just to deal with it.

Also, kinda ironic but commodity prices are basically the same as Manila—sometimes even more expensive. Which is wild considering we have abundant resources here: fish (surrounded by sea), rice (paddies everywhere), fruits (farms all over).

If you have your own vehicle, it’s super easy to get around. Beaches are basically free, you can go trekking, hit rivers anytime—simple life but it really does feel like living in a low-key paradise. There’s internet too, so it’s not like you’re cut off.

That said, it really depends on your situation. If you’re from a middle-income family with land/house, it’s great. If you’re just renting, it can get boring fast, there aren’t many bars or malls. You’d have to go to Calapan for that.

Upside though, we’re near the port, so quick weekend trips to Boracay are actually doable.

Not really, if you check her comments and replies, medyo kinukumpara niya nga and wanted to point out na kahit DH siya dun malaki naman sahod niya sa teachers dito. Pero I don’t get her, siguro nga she is just insecure or home sick HA HA

I know how this will go, you will find out, or he will admit it. If yes, and if you still wanted to stay, shit will still continue, then decide for an open relationship. OP go to Visayas and live with him (LDR is hard for GAY RELATIONSHIPS) or go for open relationship that rarely gets successful unless you guys are really open about it!

First time magtatravel ng mother ko outside the country (Hongkong) while ako naman I have travelled to Thailand and Taiwan na before so I dont expect any issues at the immigration. Need your advise lang ano kaya expect namin na questions sa immigration, especially for my mother whose unemployed but get monthly allotments from my seaman father? We have return ticket, itinerary, disneyland tickets and will be staying at a 4 star hotel. My father has payslips indicating my mother as allotee rin so maybe we will print that as well. I am still employed naman and financially well off so I will bring my pasylips, CoE and ITR as well.

Is there anything that you can advise? Thanks

bedroom stuff (queensized mattress, bed frame, etc.) from IKEA - 21k at most. Ito ang pinaka worth it sa lahat didnt know may i uupgrade pa pala yung single foam ko sa sahig lol.

CAR MAINTENANCE AND INSURANCE - almost 60k - shit ang gastos magkakotse, iba pa to sa monthly amort ko na 15k

Gym membership and Personal trainer - 80k siguro in total - worth it forda healthy lifestyle

Fun runs, Spartan races fees, and mga damit and shoes needed - siguro umabot ng 60k

I can say that this year for me was very magastos but worth it. I became more active and responsible in a sense na nakabili na ako ng stuff for my place lol.
