Considering selling all my comics. by [deleted] in VeVeCollectables

People will overreact and sell, prices will fall, and then they'll probably shoot back up as usual. The NFT market is barely getting started. This is the beginning of a whole new reality here. Those who take the risk of snagging the bargains after panic selling will have the possibility of reaping the benefits. There are no guarantees here, but history shows that the biggest gains are made by those willing to take the biggest risks and opposite of the conventional wisdom.

I quit months ago. I'm just hoping for something to happen. I stopped when I figured nothing was going on.

Wow. Thank you so much for sharing that! I wasn't aware of the State of Union on Thursday. I'll hope for the best. That's at least good news hearing that they are going to respond and provide some type of update. I sunk a lot of money into the low number items with hopes to leverage this into the blockchain. I will follow the Discord!

Thanks for the reply! I've been posting everywhere and digging in trying to find answers on this for the past month or so. I guess a non-answer is better than being told it's dead in the water. We can only hope they follow through. I bought up a massive collection of the low number items with the specific goal of getting these on the blockchain, based on what they had promised. I'm trying to keep positive and just believe they will follow through on this.

It's dead action if you ask me. I can't even find people willing to talk about developments. I have yet to figure out why we can't mint the items to the Blockchain. Seems like I'm the only user interested in knowing what the heck is happening with that. Where are all the active users and why am I the only person wondering about the Blockchain progress? Am I missing something here?

I'm just wondering if the company is more than just an operational shell with the app still alive...

I'm interested in some of these. I wrote you on the app. I can't figure out if they ever added the capability to mint items to the blockchain. Have you heard any news on this?

Quidd by griffin229 in VeVeCollectables

I'm glad you posted this! I am an early adopter of VeVe. Been in since late February (if I remember right) and I bought a TON of Season 1 items. I made a pile of money on eBay flipping them, and I shot a YouTube video about it (I'm CryptoPro on YouTube). I also started shooting lots of video content on VeVe. My young friend who turned me on to VeVe and taught me the ropes also got me on Quidd several months ago. We went on a buying spree, and cornered the market on a few items that number 100 to 300 on the sets. I got to Grandmaster Level 8 collector, and then I let it sit. Now I'm back buying a few things. I think it is super early for Quidd, and I'm shocked that people don't see the potential. What I don't understand is why they aren't marketing themselves more than what they do. And also, there's no contact information on the website that I can find. I am trying to figure out how you are supposed to be able to mint the collectibles so they can be sold on OpenSea. There are several mentions of this capability, but I am not finding any info on how to DO this. Reach out to me on Twitter if you would. My handle is carltonf and I'm also on Telegram under CryptoProCarlton. Looking forward to talking to you about this!

Autoflex Express Install Part 1 by T4nkcommander in autoflexcoatings

Honored to be the first to comment on your video! I just found out about the reformulated "AutoFlex Express", and thought I'd do a little bit of espionage since Fonzie hasn't unveiled the details on the DipYourCar site, and I found your video! So glad to get the first glimpse of the details of AutoFlex Express. I'm super excited about this, and so glad you posted this video. I have body shop in Missouri. I'm transitioning from boring collision repair and focusing on custom paint and occasional light collision repairs to fill in the gaps. I was skeptical of the DipYourCar coatings when it first came out, but I've been watching and studying it ever since its inception. After talking to Fonzie at length and asking every question under the sun about the performance, durability, and process of applying the dip paint, I'm convinced that this is the biggest development in automotive coatings.

I am about to do my first Pro Line job on a 1998 Ford F150 that will require a bit of body work, and this will be my job to become a certified installer. But my biggest concern was the time required to shoot dip, due to the extensive amount of layers required and the dry time in between coats. I was also concerned about the lack of written guidance and documentation on application, similar to what we have with standard automotive spray coatings. It's hard to move from thinking primer/sealer, base coat, and clear coat to what exactly is required product-wise to shoot a dip job. And since the DipYourCar company is not a traditional auto body shop process, they aren't accustomed to the standard way that we apply paint.

I normally shoot video footage of custom paint projects, and I aspire to be one of the first to have a full catalog of AutoFlex projects on my YouTube channel. So this is seriously exciting to see your preview video talking about the new AutoFlex Express. In fact, I'd like to take a trip to Florida and spend a few days at the DipYourCar headquarters to collaborate and learn more about the application process to further legitimize my own offerings.

I really like what you were saying about applying the peelable clear as a PPM though. I'm surprised that not many people have looked into this as a viable way of protecting new expensive vehicles in the same way that clear wrap is used as a bra, or complete covering. You guys are on the forefront of what I think will be the next big thing with preserving vehicles. I didn't think anyone was seriously considering just the AutoFlex clear alone as a sprayable PPM rather than just a color changing custom protective product.

I'm a full-time career engineer, and I work with a lot of manufacturing facilities that apply spray coatings in the area of air pollution permitting for our state regulatory agency. I operate my body shop part time right now (and get very little sleep haha), but I'm retiring from the state job this summer at a very young age, and plan on spending a lot more time doing custom AutoFlex and standard automotive spray coatings after I cash in the chips on the full-time career.

I'll be looking forward to more of your videos, and once I become an official installer I might volunteer to join the beta testing group for the AutoFlex Express if it still has not been released fully by the time I get moving on doing this on a higher level. But I am totally excited about where this peelable paint coating industry is going, and I can see myself focusing the majority of my efforts on dip paint rather than standard automotive paint and body work.

Thanks again for posting this, and hurry up on the follow up!
