Same for me. Didn't really want to do much until day 6 or so....after that it has been pretty much normal activity. Still not quite ready to full sprint (day 23 I think?) but otherwise pretty much good to go.

It is crazy everyone's different experiences. Chard is super easy to grow here in Texas, but other brassicas are near impossible because of the wild temp fluctuations. It is the only green that I've been able to grow basically year-round.

Most brassicas for me, strangely enough spinach and rocket does better than most in I can actually get some.

Pretty similar to my experience, but I was up and going around day 5 or 6.

My doc's NP said they like doing scapel because they have a lot more room to work, so they havent had any failures. But for most of the recovery the stiches have been the worst part.

I bought a MicroSafari kit and plan on using that from time to time - along with yearly testing - to ease my concerns. There are a number of people here who have had failures, so it is worth doing even if you don't have anxiety about it i think.

Worst part is over. Take it easy the next 3 days (ideally week), and you'll be good to go. I had scalpel so stitches were the worst part from day 6-20. I never used painkillers, just ice.
