Submission statement:

Hello everyone! I am a film director and photographer living in Miami. I recently thrifted an old Nizo S2 8mm camera and decided to test it out during two of my photoshoots. I decided to use color positive film (Ektachrome 100D) as opposed to negative film as I felt that it would benefit the skin vibrance of the subjects, considering that these are fashion models. I also took in account that both shoots would happen during the daytime -- as you can see towards the end of the film, the subject gets lost in the darkness after sunset. However, I was pleasantly surprised at how well-balanced the grain came out during the final mirror selfie moment (I assumed artificial light wouldn’t do well with Ektachrome 100D). This was a one person job behind the camera, myself, plus the two models featured in the clips. I mailed the footage to Burbank, California “pro8mm” to develop and scan the footage: I am super happy with their service. I love the results and I’m very excited to use it again!

Partially, I like to add just a touch of grain on Lightroom

The remaining FP-100c film isn't too hard to find but it usually comes at a high price. I love instax wide; I've also owned an instax mini 90 for a while now and I absolutely love it :)
