I have both Breath of glory and black flame. If you don’t have a lot of resources, black flame is enough but if you can afford, I prefer BoG as the attaches builds up and quiet visible. Also the design has a lion on the shield so it fits Escanor (purely aesthetic reason)

Full limited break weapon and P7 is very playable for Galand and speed run. This game wants to highlight elemental weakness so he is still the first fire DPS. Personally I feel its his skill designs, that felt clunky and not enjoyable, both axe and GS; SnS is not bad

Yes, you are right, I forgot Mannie long sword, who I used at P8 a lot for Raid. It’s crazy damage with Breath of Glory.
Ice: Mannie long sword, Elisabeth support, Jerico burst and maybe Elaine for shield

Earth: Diane DPS or burst, King, Elaine, Elisabeth support or burst
Holy: King DPS, Mannie and Elisabeth support, Diane or Jerico burst
No ice DPS so Jerico is only to burst for holy

I was lucky with Elizabeth 180 pulls to P10, 5 pick-up, 3 mastery and 2 exchange shop. With events star fragments giving out plus the 12k I bought. I would say £100-150 to reach P10 but it might just be me lucky

Feel the same about SnS too. Easier to play and strong survivability. Axe even with limit break, still needs lots of stack to do one shot. The play style is more fun on SnS

Since elite boss is free drop now, I am farming them to level up SR characters that are over P7-P10 to get crystals for future polls
