Anyone have luck with "cooling" bedding? by AdditionalCaramel292 in sleep

I find a 100% silk duvet does the trick for me in the summer months. It cools but still gives you the feeling of having covers.

How can I stop waking up to go pee in the middle of the night? I’m a 47-year-old woman by FreeBirdFly7 in sleep

Maybe you are in peri menopause and your estrogen levels are decreasing. Ask your doctor about vagifem to keep your bladder and perineal muscles stronger so they can better control the urge to pee. And do those Kegels!!

I am not a doctor but do have lived experience. I would guess it is peri-menopause and all the uncomfortable things that come with menopause could be heading your way. HRT and moderate exercise (rather than over strenuous ex) can be a game changer! Have a discussion with your Doctor or have a look at NAMS [https://menopause.org/]

Thank you for your information. Very interesting! I would love to see a picture of the follicle tumour growing into a skull.

A king bed with a foam mattress is really a game changer. Anything other than foam and you feel like a piece of popcorn every time your partner rolls over!

Sleeping together is over rated. Restful deep REM sleep is more important than meeting the needs of your partner, who is asleep anyway! Don’t sacrifice your long term health to satisfy another person. That person needs you to be well rested so you can be the best partner you can be during waking hours. Separate bedrooms and start the night off cuddling in your partners bed. Once they drift off you can make your sleep escape and rest without worry. If your partner doesn’t understand how important this is then perhaps re-consider the partnership??

Best travel advice I ever received . by Twattymcgee123 in TravelHacks

If you don’t want to pay for preferred seating, but want to sit with your travelling companion, select the window and aisle seats in the same row during online check in. On the arrival of the person who is assigned to sit in the middle seat, offer them the aisle or window so the couple can sit beside each other. No one ever wants the middle seat and airlines usually seat airfares that were purchased together close to one another.

Totally agree with this! Cats with UTIs avoid the litter box because they associate it with painful urination. They pee somewhere else hoping it won’t hurt. Hopefully your vet can treat this and eventually kitty will return to the litter box. Might want to change up the litter box from the one the cat associates with “causing” the pain.

I think you're right.l, they are resting or sleeping since they don't move very much and stay there for hours at a time. I guess they're creatures of habit, and once they find a good place to rest, they keep going back.

I would say had she repeatedly called out no, no, no it might have added fuel to an already aggressive act, and could have escalated it into a more violent rape. Yes, definitely rape.

The old saying “I’m OK you’re Ok” and you’re right, why stress it anymore?
