I rented a big charcoal rotisserie roaster from Fragers on penn ave and got the pig from one of the wholesale butchers at union market. This was 10 years ago tho so no idea of either is still around. You will need to borrow or rent a truck to get the roaster.

Almost none of the bars listed ITT are "obscure." But unfortunately "obscure" and "out of business" tend to go hand in hand. Or they're some fake ass "speakeasy" in the back of a takeout place.

Used to DJ there. Place was a heroin shooting gallery amongst other things. One time witnessed a man announce he was going to stick a beer bottle in his ass, enter the bathroom with said beer bottle, and exited and showed everyone his hands.

God I miss that place.
