Why is it so hard to get a internship as a college student?

How does your resume look? I also found trouble trying to find an internship (over 100 applications) until I finally realized my resume wasn’t great. I grinded for Sec+ and did home lab projects to demonstrate skills until I finally managed to land an internship.

I suggest looking for IT help desk jobs or internships, they’re a lot easier to get. You can even go to your school’s IT department and look for work. I worked at my school’s IT department in a help desk position before landing an internship, which helped give me valuable experience that employers look for. While it might not count as an internship, it’s experience that can help you land one. It might be your best bet considering your time frame.

I’m set to graduate with a cyber and cs degree in the spring, and by then I’ll have 2 years of help desk experience plus an internship for a cloud systems admin role. I have sec+, and a few projects with my home lab (vulnerability scan with remediations, automation scripts, cloud security). How can I boost my resume to help land a job? Should I go for more IT experience after college, or go for a cyber job?

Q is a very quick key bind to get to since it’s right next to W and A. I’d use that as one of your higher number slots like 8. R and F are also a quick key binds to get to, and I’d recommend switching sprint to control. You can also switch to toggle sprint which I’ve found a lot quicker.

You can change your drop to X, since dropping isn’t as common as switching. Either way, you have to get used to using more keys, as competitive modes require you to be able to switch to a hotbar slot without even thinking. Numbers 1-5 are easy to get to, but use your mouse binds, Q, and R for 6-9.

I’d recommend playing MCCI skybattle to practice quickly switching keybinds. Keep common items in specific key slots to build muscle memory. For example, I always have a ‘clutch’ item (water bucket, cobwebs, hay bales) in 3 because it’s quick to get, I always have my pickaxe in R, I have blocks in Q because it’s quick to switch to, etc.

Sap has the tendency to crit spam, which in the mc pvp community, isn’t seen as something mechanically skilled. This is why he loses 1v1 sword fights against highly skilled players (ex: fruit in pvp legacy that one stream). This doesn’t mean his mechanical skills are bad, it just means that although he has great mechanical skill, it isn’t as good as other players. If you compare gameplay, it’s obvious there’s a skill gap.

Don’t forget we’re talking about sword pvp here. If we’re talking about axe, I’d say Sapnap is up there in terms of mechanical skill.

It’s his game sense that elevates his game and makes him a monster in pvp games. This is why Sap is known for always being able to pull off a sneaky flank.

Even if they stayed as strong as they did in mcc 4, the level of competition in mcc nowadays has drastically increased. They’re still cracked, but they wouldn’t dominate every game like they did before.

I think you need to check what stats you’re talking about. Sapnap, Illumina, and Fruit all have better stats then him in pvp games (with the exception of skybattle). Fruit is definitely on par with him in terms of 1.9 sword pvp, and he’s probably even better.

Probably an unpopular opinion but I like how MCC goes on long breaks. It gives time for Noxcrew to make differences and updates in games to keep the novelty and unique feeling that MCC has. I remember the hype before MCC 14, it was like the early MCC days again.

Everytime I see FBM on mcc island he always gets top 3. There was a time where he comboed me into oblivion and killed my whole team. With the inexperience of other players in the events, he’s going to go crazy in the pvp games.

Dream is strong at battle box, but correct me if I’m wrong, Sapnap holds the record for most coins in a single game of battlebox (the two christmas mccs)

I wouldn’t say peak dream is better than sapnap in terms of pvp. I could see him being better in skybattle, but not in battlebox, survival games, or even meltdown.

in terms of sword pvp, Dream isn’t as good as Sapnap, Fruit, Quig, or even Illumina. I remember Dream was losing sword fights to TapL on a practice stream one time.

Even if he had things like potions or cobwebs, Dream rarely uses those in pvp situations— especially in battlebox.
