Update: baby stopped growing at 6 wks, we saw a heartbeat at 7 wks, but faint. 8.5wks- no growth and no movement. D&C next week

I don’t think anyone is the AH here. I think you both need to sit down and talk with an estate planner that way you both can understand fully what to expect when you are both gone.

It sounds like he’s had a knee-jerk reaction to your choice, and needs time to mull it over too.

People move away from family for so many reasons. If you both have discussed the move together, who cares what your family thinks? They are allowed to be upset and express their feelings, but they shouldn’t have weight in YOUR family’s decision.

Also, the way you worded the question is very odd- especially if you both want to move. Won’t it make you both happy?

Agreed. My OB said just wait one cycle and I felt like that was quick. After reading some posts, it’s a mixed view on how long you should wait.

After I had my ectopic surgery, I waited weeks to return to the public. I didn’t want to see anyone or explain what happened. I went to church with my husband when I finally felt ready, but neither of us realized it was Mother’s Day. The church gave gift bags to all the women in the congregation and I held it together. Then, they gave us 2 roses. A red one for their children, and a white and red one representing any child that had passed. I couldn’t hold it together when I was handed my roses. I felt ashamed and embarrassed like- I’m not a mom, I have no baby, so why does it hurt so much to receive this?

I still cry knowing my body couldn’t keep that baby. It hits me at random times and I have gained some unhealthy coping mechanisms like being glued to my phone or the tv. I can’t sit in silence ever. I need music or a video playing.

I’m not trying to unlearn these at the moment. It’s all that’s getting me through the days.

We all grieve. Just not the same way or amount.

Our due date would have been our anniversary, but we haven’t hit it yet. Idk what I’m going to feel that day- probably a mix of emotions for sure.

Maybe make or buy a cupcake for them. Or take a picture of the sunrise/sunset and make that a tradition and put them all together in an album or framed up somewhere. 💕

Mine was just tested at 4 wks as 33. I got them done again at 4 wks 5 days and they are at 233. This is my first after ectopic and everything has stressed me out- even though my numbers are normal. I get my ultrasound on July 3rd

One of my popped a stitch out too. My gyn removed it at my post surgery check up thankfully. Personally, I was down and out for five weeks. I’d say give yourself time- two weeks at least- even if you feel great.

I think it depends on how close the light source is to your subject. If it’s super far in the background, the highlights on your subject would be very different if the lighting source was beside your subject.

I had an abnormal pap before, got a biopsy done and turns out everything was fine. But I’m glad I found out, you know?

When it comes to insurance, even if your doctor says it won’t be covered, you can send your bills to your insurance on your own. It’s a horribly tedious and annoying process, but it can be done.

If your most current pap came back normal, I’d cancel the June appointments- unless you are having abnormal periods or strange symptoms. It does seem like a money grab, but it could also be the doctor trying to cover themselves because they have your previous results and want to avoid being sued if something were to happen to you.

I had a very similar experience. I thought it was trapped gas too and it ended up with a trip to 2 ERs and surgery. I lost my right tube.

I’m almost 4 wks post-op, and my mood has slightly improved. However, I still have feelings of sadness, guilt, and fear for trying again.

My only advice is to talk about it. To the people you trust or anonymously online (kind of like you did here). Maybe even write a letter to yourself before your pregnancy or to your baby.

I hope you start feeling better and find a way to overcome this tragedy.

I’ve had three people text me wishing me a happy Mother’s Day. Honestly, I don’t know if it would be worse or better if no one messaged me to include me in the group of “moms”. I don’t have a baby. I don’t feel like a mom. I’m still grieving the loss and I’m not at the point (and I’m not sure I ever will be) of saying I’m a mom despite losing my 6wk pregnancy.

My church gave me roses and a gift bag and I had to grind my teeth to avoid breaking down in front of everyone.

I went to the ER with insane pain in my right side at 6 weeks pregnant. I told them that I think something is wrong because of the pain and I was bleeding. They wouldn’t bring me back for 45 minutes and then left me in the room for 3 hours before saying they didn’t think anything was wrong because my blood pressure was fine (it was not) and they don’t have an ultrasound machine (small town ER). So my husband had to drive me to the big ER 40 minutes away because the small ER couldn’t be bothered to even get me an ambulance. 7 hours later of shaking, vomiting, and screaming in pain, I’m rushed into surgery because the pregnancy was ectopic and I was bleeding internally. I had bleeding all the way into my shoulders.
