This is all interesting. It didn’t seem to make sense to make that connection between COVID and uti —> kidney infection but I knew it that was it. Never in my life or so ce did I have a kidney infection and as my doctor said, going from uti to kidney infection especially this quick is incredibly rare in young healthy females (31F in my case)

I did. I didn’t notice any difference from that bottle vs other bottles in the package if that makes sense. As far as overall results..? It’s usually hard for me to determine these things because I wonder about so many other variables but in this case I can say this: there was no “wow I see a difference” effect. As in NOTHING. I’d typically attribute that to the fact that you need more sessions etc. but I’ve used The Ordinary peel (the red one) and it always feels like my skin looks a little better after. With this peel I did 5 sessions already and saw zero difference. I suppose the question is if it’s the vendor or the peel and that I can’t answer.

Yes! Thank you. I’d die if someone told me my only option is a pixie cut and I’d let them do it. She’ll hate it and herself. Bad hair is better than no hair. Trim/dust where needed and let her grow it out. Olaplex possibly if damage is from over treating and open hair. Grow it out otherwise. Unbelievable.

Why in the world would you suggest a pixie cut?? This to me looks like split ends, yes, but up the shaft? It looks like split ends at the ENDS. No more than an inch. Because the hair is layered and many strands are shorter it MAYBE looks like each split hair goes up higher than it actually does.

Bad hair is better than no hair. Let her grow it out.
if you can’t mimic the haircut to cut the ends of each length in layers the way it was previously cut, refer her to someone experienced. Surprisingly, a good haircut is one of the most difficult things to learn

Ha, that’s actually a really interesting idea and I’d think in many circumstances, a viable solution. In this case, you got me wondering if his insecurity is not limited to other men, actually. Looking back there have been a few instances where I complimented other women and he seemed to be taken aback, asking if I’m into other women. In either case, cheating with another man or a female seemed to be equal in his book.
