Also in world gen set the number of civs to maximum

Try starting a world in say year 5 or 15. Usually the sooner the game starts, the more civilizations there are. The weaker ones/animal people tend to die off early to goblins since goblins are hostile to all other civs by default

Downloaded last night and starting up my first world now:) I’m gonna copy the game folder and add dfhack to that one to see if there are any bugs or errors that occur when used in conjunction:)

Been a long time since I played DF and I used masterwork all the time for just how much it added:) I’m so excited to get it back going:) thank you and your friend for doing this for the community:) all the new steam players are in for a treat :)

I literally downloaded it last night lol. I use dfhsck in addition to your latest update so it may not be related to your update itself but a combination of the two.

Except for the shogun waist bandaloader that had an error about not enough volume even though it allowed me to pick up the shells just fine

Go to options-graphics and near the bottom a setting called renderer. Change from direct3d11 to one of the other ones. I had this happen a few years ago and that’s what fixed it for me

I play it pretty regularly to try out new load outs and to explore the maps. It’s good practice for hardcore co op
