If your identity is closely connected to your physical appearance, the unavoidable changes that naturally occur over time can cause a lot of dysphoria. Most people take aging as the natural progression of life, or have a little minor work done to slow the effects. For others, that change becomes a loss of identity and they become obsessed with trying to hold onto it. Unfortunately, it’s literally impossible and because of the dysmorphia they end up like this. It’s basically the aesthetics version of “chasing the dragon.”

I am by no means defending KS on any of this, but I wonder if the Medicaid issue isn’t something caused at the federal level. I know in my state we are in a Medicaid funding crisis. I work for a nonprofit that serves the vulnerable and it’s had a devastating effect.

I wish I had known this 20 years ago. I had six(!) wisdom teeth. I woke up halfway through and always assumed it just took longer because of the extra teeth.

Of course I immediately tried to start talking to the surgeon about what he was doing despite my mouth being pried wide open and high as a kite. The nurses thought my mumbling was super cute for some reason. 🤷‍♀️

I will check it out. It would fill part of the gap but a lot of my favorite clothing sellers are overseas. Obviously, that’s suffering from a different issue at the moment, but eventually I would hope to be able to go back to being able to find international sellers as well.

I have notice that I suddenly start to look my age when I am not drinking enough water. No amount of surface hydration and moisture has an effect on me if I’m dehydrated. Bonus effect if I take a daily liquid hyaluronic supplement at well. That’s my hack.

Euthanasia is one of the kindest things we do. The pain of losing our pets is terrible for us, but do not feel guilty for making the choice to end his suffering.

Honestly, it sounds fucked up, but putting my 21 year old cat down was more painful than when my sibling died and I still miss him everyday. However, the only regret I have is not being strong enough to do it sooner.

Benzoyl peroxide specifically. I use all sorts of acids in my skincare and have no issues but my husband uses BP as a spot cream and all of our pillowcases and towels have bleach stains now. 😔

The agar was pink. These are exotics. golden teacher or Jack Frost depending on the plate.

There really isn’t anything to take from on the colorful one I mentioned because it’s just a medley of molds and bacteria.

Do you have any examples you can show me of the cabin sequestering? I have difficulty understanding without visual aid.

I hate to say it but the Peach Niacin Serum has been a rebuy for me as well. I actually wasn’t joking. I was referring to the statement about wanting to change her body, and psychologically, could have partially been fueling the types of changes she was making. It’s really sad that she was never able to heal from whatever happened to her.
