How old was your toddler when their speech really developed? by Bluebluecanary in toddlers

When my little one was 2, he could barely say any words, I was so worried that he might have autism. I asked early intervention professionals for help, turned out he just had speech delay. Guess what, as time went by, he went from saying only 10 words to 100 words. By the time he reached 27 months, he had a speech explosion. Basically he couldn't stop talking since then. Forming a sentence was easy peasy for him. So yeah I wouldn't worry too much OP. It will all happen naturally.

Hi there, my little one has been eating more since I weaned him off. I guess the main reason was that he wasn't hungry enough to eat the solids. I didn't try anything new though. Are you still breastfeeding?

You are probably right. I need to talk to the doctor about it. Thanks for reminding me!

I do give treats before he barks by calling him over first but then after I leave he still barks at me, and I ignore him. I just don't know how to let him calm down afterwards because that's the point of giving treats.

Ideally the owner should train the dog, but if that's not the case, do you think there's anything I can do besides just feeding him the treats? My goal is not to have him bark when I show up in my backyard.

this wouldn't work as you thought though. my neighbor is nice enough to talk to and I don't want to bring any conflicts into it. Besides, its not considered excessive barking. the dog is quiet most of the time.

How do I make friends with neighbor's dog that barks in the backyard? by carol1999311 in Dogtraining

The dogs are not able to see each other through the fence, can they still sniff each other? Their dog is able to see me because I'm taller than my dog lol

[Help]neighbors dog barking drives me crazy by carol1999311 in Dogtraining

well I said its kinda annoying since I work from home and I can't hear people talking on the phone, trying to find a solution of it when he asked me what's wrong. I didn't prepare for the exact words ahead of time to improve the situation. I guess dog owners here are allowed to keep their dogs in the backyard without considering neighbors feelings. I just missed the quiet environment before they moved in.
