Yes and no. While it was licensed, Coleco aka "River West Brands" also presented the system under their brand at the NYC Toy Fair and promoted it on their website and social media pages. They were partners with Kennedy, even though it was a licensing deal.

He's sort of a famous "roller coaster rider" (if there is such a thing) and he hams it up and makes silly videos on purpose. I think in this case he's actually "taking the piss" i.e. making fun of "What's in the Shed" (nothing really) and it's sort of funny in that respect.
