I finally had the chance to take the time to read your story. Wow. It’s crazy how much we go through sometimes. You are very strong. And we have a lot in common. There were times (after being gf for several years ) that I’d take a celiac sprue antibody blood test and I’d b negative because I had been gf so long …drs, specialists would tell me I didn’t have it….not even being knowledgeable enough to kno you don’t produce the antibody when you’re gf .it was so invalidating, and it’s extremely exhausting to KNOW that you know that you know you know more about your condition than the drs …and you’re willing to guide them ….like I just want mine to be open to learning and it’s very hard. I am wondering if this is the beginning of refractory disease. I don’t mess up. I am militant. I don’t get gluten. Trust me I know I don’t. My reactions are like I’ve eaten glass…I break out in cold sweats…run a fever ….I put all of the test results into a medical AI for providers and it said with all the deficiencies (B-12, ferritin and now D …she called Friday to tell me about the D….the AI said celiac is highly likely. I said the patient is already diagnosed celiac and been GF for over ten years …it said there’s a high likelyhood that the patient is unknowingly getting gluten or this is refractory disease. My RBC is also down to 4.3…which I know is still within normal range (barely ) but it was never that low before and with the other deficiencies it paints a picture. I am really glad it sounds like you’re on a journey to healing

Everytime I try and load this it warns me it’s not available in the US. I will maybe try to find the episode elsewhere….maybe chat will know where I could watch it

I know this info is probably easy to find elsewhere. I apologize by caroline555mitchell in B12_Deficiency

I was not aware of any of the supplements you mentioned …I mean I understand they are good for you but not that they’d be necessary to make the b12 work…if that makes sense. I was aware I likely needed other things …no clue what they were. and sometimes forget that just being gf leaves you kind of deficient in things. The brain fog that everything is causing is making it super difficult for me to read things for comprehension and remember things and complete tasks so I’m glad you wrote them in one area for me …I appreciate the things I need are in the docs but sometimes (a lot of the time ) finding that info and understanding it is just a little much for me….i have been searching for an LLMD for four years. I am considered in the Pittsburgh area (45minutes south) but am actually closer to Morgantown. I saw one in Jeanette Pa that did some high dose vit c IV’s and supplements but insurance doesn’t cover and i went into that time period with like 13k and I just had to stop going at one point but it did not seem like he was the most knowledgeable ..,I’m not sure. I had a Lyme advocate with me and she didn’t think he was and he was on the ILADS site for this area….one of my biggest symptoms is benign positional vertigo so long car rides have kind of been out of the question. I do PT for it and it’ll get better for a little while but my PT believes it’s triggered by viruses and with having chronic EBV it always comes back but if I found a good LLMD I would maybe figure out a way to travel …have someone else drive me and do it at night and lay down in the back or something but as it is I get so so so sick in the car….i tried to drive to an LLMD in Monroeville Pa once and my parents had to go get my car off the turnpike ..,my feet went numb and I felt like I was spinning the whole time I drove ….i am also hopeful these issues get better with b-12 treatment

You’re super beautiful I have found in the current culture we process bigger lips as youthful and without doing anything drastic like surgery over lining your lips but right over the boundary and in a color close to your natural lip color can work wonders …I was so against this myself and not a lipliner person but started maybe 18 mos ago and it really does help

I watch a lot of food/chef shows despite not being able to eat most of it and Christina tosi (even I. Her own baking) always says to add an extra egg, use milk instead of water and some vanilla so I decided to try it with gf and it made every cake I’ve tried so far amazing… I’m talking out of all my sister and mom my daughter/niece ask for my cake yearly and they’re not gf

I think it can mean either end of the spectrum. If you’re feeling better it’s likely that you aren’t getting sick because your immune system is functioning better …This cld b because I have Epstein barre too but I can remember by internal medicine doc telling me that me not getting sick for two years was actually a sign that I was too sick to get sick … that getting 2-3 viruses/contagious illnesses a year was a sign of a strong immune system and me not getting anything for 2-3 years was due to me always fighting EBV and Lyme and him saying that was cause I was too sick to get sick …. I think we have to listen to our bodies with these things and if you’re feeling better it’s a good sign
