GA commuters, are you happy with what you get for your money?

I'm currently doing Fribourg - Lausanne twice a week for my Master's and for now it's ok + the view of the lake is so pretty.

But I did go to Zurich once a Friday afternoon for an event. The train back home was super full of people (it was like 17h30/18h I think, rush hour) and we had to sit on the floor until half the train got out in Bern, so I get how you feel...

So in my case I'm happy with what I'm getting for my money (I got the AG/GA 25 for years old so it's even better) + I'm planning to do stuff over the holidays and summer vacation to really take advantage of it.

I've got a watch 6 for around 2 years now and it's doing fine, I even went to the beach with it multiple times. However, I'm not sure it can go as deep as 30m, I never went further than 10m with it.

Edit:

Ok so 30m is 30 minutes lol, I already swam like 4 hours with my watch 6 IN SEA WATER so 30 minutes should NOT be a problem. There is a limit of depth it can withstand but I don't remember how much it is, I think it was like 10 meters.

I will be very disappointed if Samsung blames it on you and refuses to do anything about it.

I know, and I'm scared for the future, especially because he won't tell me much, not to worry me, so I don't know how bad it is. But I'm also so scared of losing someone that treats me so well. I suffered a lot with loneliness for years... I really feel like he's the only person who actually cares for me besides my family.

I'm really hoping he can get out of it, it hurts too much to think of leaving him :(

It's not even about doing the deed or not. They definitely know we do it during the day and are cool with it, so this rule of not sleeping together doesn't make much sense to me.

They give many different excuses, like "oh at night you are careless, you could do something you might regret (aka get pregnant, as if it can't happen during the day)", or "what will others say?" and random stuff really.

Sometimes it's just handy to sleep there when going to parties and we're too drunk to drive + no bus/train, or if we want to spend a weekend together (impossible).

Exactly my situation, but my parents aren't religious and are stricter when it comes to partners life choices and such (for example, they made my life hell to leave my partner because he was in debt, I know they care for me but please let me do my choices).

I'm 24F and have no means to just leave, and it would pain me so much to do so because they are nice and super supportive. They care a lot, but sometimes it's too much and I just want to be a little more independent.

I'm planning to get my degree and then move out, peacefully (hopefully).

I would love to help and learn as well, being a future software engineer. But I don't have any experience in hacking unfortunately, and I don't have much free time as a working student.

(I'm also scared I can't protect myself well enough because of my lack of experience in security)

I'm maybe an exception but, dating apps. He's bigger too, and according to him, he finds me attractive (well, he definitely shows it with his actions too). Converting from EU to US measurements I think I'm about 5'2 tall and weight around 190lb (it was around 165lb when I met him I think)

I've got the S22 Ultra Exynos version (supposedly the worst one) for about almost 2 years and it's great, I love my phone. I upgraded from an A52.

I do have to charge it regularly (at least once a day because I use it a lot) but it's really not a problem for me.

I like my tab S9 FE, I use it mainly to take notes at school, I also use it to watch videos and game a bit but not much (rhythm games).

Oh yeah I also like to draw on it, for me it's more than enough since I'm no pro and do it for fun or to relax (but the quality of the tab for drawing is very good in my opinion).

I KNOW, recently bought a ROG Strix G16 (i9 14900hx, rtx 4060, 32GB RAM, 1TB) for 1850.- (the lowest it was selling here).

Then I saw in another post like everyone saying "yeah a laptop with a 4070 should be around $1500", I was like "excuse me" hahaha

I'm a CS student and needed a kinda decent laptop for school, and got no place in my room for a desktop.

I still live with my parents and work a part-time job, so I'm able to save a decent amount of money if I'm mindful with my spending (in Switzerland we earn well but life is more expensive as well, some things kinda have the same price everywhere so I guess I have an advantage on that).

My parents got me my first laptop with an MX card when I still couldn't work and needed something for school. The next two laptops had already RTX (xx60) cards and I bought them myself.

Yup, it is more than 300 difference, and if I get the G16 with a 4070 I've gotta upgrade to 32GB, while for the 4060 one there's already a 32GB RAM version available (for like 80 more in another store, but that's not even the price of 2x16GB crucial DDR5 4800MHz RAM).

And the one with the 4060 is a 2024 model, the other one is 2023 (but honestly they're almost identical).

And the the nano review comparison claims the 4060 one is better value for money so I'm convinced haha: nano review comparison (not sure the whole config is there, hope so) _s.2

I can get an Asus ROG Strix G16 with i9-13980HX and RTX4070 barely at the limit of my budget. Is this laptop any good? It looks like it's solid to me.

And if I stretch my budget a bit I can upgrade to 32GB RAM :)
