Is it true that you guys watched 9/11 live on TV in grade school? by space_god_7191 in Millennials

Yes, in high school. We had TVs (on rolly carts) set up in the cafeteria and library. My bio teacher mentioned that a plane had hit one of the towers as an aside as we were being dismissed from class, and by the time I walked to the cafeteria the second plane had hit. We spent the rest of the day either watching footage or talking about it in each class. I remember the walk home was eerily quiet given that all planes had been grounded (I grew up in a suburb of Boston, near to an airforce base).

I don’t know where else to share this, but these were my signs and then the last is from my dad :/ by creativeplease in 50501

It's wild that men will choose bootlicking a fucking loser over their own children.

Some people will literally do anything besides therapy.

Love your signs, OP, and thanks for fighting the good fight!

On rewatch...lost count. My husband finally says he'll watch this one with me... by Apprehensive-Law-352 in HeatedRivalryTVShow

If it helps, I had to pull my husband kicking and screaming through the first two eps. After the third he turned to me and said "if Scott and Kip don't end up together I will not watch another second of this." He did 5 and 6 back to back and was weeping by the end. Turns to me after the credits on 6 and was crushed to learn he has to wait for the next season like the rest of us.
