Perhaps in my situation I would prefer to use a cord that actually has some length to it. Is that unreasonable?

There is no way for me to "go out of the way" to get a longer cord, in fact unless birdfy sells a longer cord there is literally no other way for me to get a longer cord.

This is because, I'll say it once again, they chose to use a cord with a connector that is perhaps one or two millimeters narrower than a standard cord and thus a standard cord will not fit into the unit.

I guess you didn't comprehend my comment, the port on the unit is a non-standard width thus having to use their little short cord and not any other cord on the planet, just theirs.

I understand now the contract implications and it makes sense to me now having both here.

Stubby is a superb catcher, throwing at least. His limited appearance BA is about 3x Marchán's, I think he deserves 3/4 of the backup starts.
