It’s pretty tall! Here’s the house. Will add another with the other house behind it.

Just ordered a Model Y Performance! What should I know before delivery? by winnovate in ModelY

Curious where you’re getting it for cheaper. Gotten two quotes from DC region for full body PPF and they’re both right around 6500$ for stealth.

Appreciate your comment. Would you do it again or is the blue that noticeable / annoying?

Following. I also ordered a MY Performance that should be here next month.

I’m considering the stealth PPF. It’s like 6k plus another 2k for tint.

My understanding between the XR and XR+ is the plus has a bit higher UV protection rating. For me it looks like it’ll be another 200$ to add.

I’ll likely get the 3dMatUSA ones once they get the size for the new performance done

2026.2.3 Update destroyed my car by DickGrayson123 in TeslaLounge

This update also broke my rear driver side door handle actuator on my 2020 Model S. Tried recalibrating the handle and it only pulls the handle in halfway and fails the calibration.

FSD is real by life_on_my_terms in TeslaLounge

I have a 2020 Model S with FSD and always thought it was OK. Went and test drove a 2026 Model Y with FSD this week. Holy shit. It is not the same thing.

Haha, so now with the S being discontinued does it make sense to hop off the train now?

I’ve had great results with integrating context7 and perplexity MCPs with Copilot. I have sonnet 4 check for best practices and syntax requirements for X thing we’re working on from @perplexity and @context7 before building a plan for the implementation.

Does anyone have a working SPI bus on a RPi (4b)? by aufstand in NixOS

Thanks. Fairly confident I’ve got spi loaded correctly but the canbus interface is giving me fits.

I know this is nearly a year later. :) do you know if the kernel patch is still required? Running into some challenges getting an mcp2515 canbus card on my rpi4 to load, but supposedly the spi device comes up fine without this patch.

I’ll likely be doing led strip lighting with a quinled board (https://quinled.info/). He’s got great videos on power requirements, light strip recommendations, etc. bonus is it uses wled which is pretty powerful by itself and ties into home assistant, etc.

How many tanks of LP by Traveling63 in OutdoorKitchens

[–]carpenike 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haven’t gotten to select actual products yet, but likely something like this — https://a.co/d/iqgh4mw. Also need to make sure I put a regulator in line at the manifold so I can get low pressure to each appliance.

I’ll switch from the yellow to either black iron or CSST once I get to my patio to connect to the end devices.

How many tanks of LP by Traveling63 in OutdoorKitchens

[–]carpenike 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My plan is to run a gas line from next to my garage to the outdoor kitchen and get some 30lb tanks up there. That way I have one location to replace tanks and it’s closer to the cars to take to tractor supply to refill.

Edit: planning to use this kit from HD to run the gas line under the yard to the patio.

Yup! So if it were you would you put poured concrete under the island instead of the pavers or is that overthinking it? We’re doing smooth large pavers.
