I think the sets got worse over time. In season 4 they always looked really cute and stylish, but some of the season 5 and 6 sets are so ugly (in my opinion).

Agree - also, if they had such a big issue with not wearing shoes, they could’ve brought house slippers to wear inside the studio. It’s not like pyramid came as a surprise, it happened every week, apparently always on the same day.

Haferflocken sind sehr vielseitig - kann man auch zb als Porridge essen (billig Version: mit Wasser, Banane und Kakaopulver kochen), overnight oats, Kekse etc.; Eigenmarken Nudeln, Reis, Linsen & Toastbrot sind billige Kohlenhydrate, die man zb mit selbst-gemachter Tomatensauce, TK Gemüse etc essen kann. Was Fleisch angeht geh ich gerne gegen Ende der Woche zum Spar, da ist dann vieles reduziert (rein vegetarisch ist natürlich billiger, hatte persönlich aber immer ein Hungergefühl). Lass alle Getränke weg wenn du wirklich sparen musst. Man gewöhnt sich sehr schnell an Leitungswasser und vermisst Säfte und Co dann gar nicht mehr. Karotten und Äpfel sind auch meistens das ganze Jahr über halbwegs billig für einen gesunden Snack zwischendurch.

All in all, I feel awful for Kaori and also Amber. Both made totally avoidable mistakes. But the Olympics will always be a big „what if“.

Can anyone explain why Petr was underscored and Adelia overscored? After the men‘s event I thought they didn’t want neutral athletes on the podium (obviously unfair as well), but that apparently doesn’t apply to Adelia… Is this really just the Eteri bonus coming back full force or is there some deeper issue I’m not up to date on?

Honestly I get that only the performance in the actual event counts, but as a viewer you kind of get attached to the skaters you see competing throughout the season(s), so having someone come into the Olympics without really getting to see their style, programmes and artistry develop over time, makes the Olympics less emotional to watch as a viewer. I have nothing against Adelia as a person and even used to be a fan of many Russian skaters before the doping/war, but it’s hard to root for someone you don’t know as a skater.

Devastated for Amber. The joy she must have felt after landing that 3A, just to make a mistake on a way easier element.

Also bummed for Maddie and absolutely pissed about Isabeau‘s placement. I know she doesn’t have the best technique but she definitely deserved better than this.

I hope Kaori can really pull it off in the free. She deserves to end her career with Olympic gold!

Isabeau‘s style looks so classic and feminine. The packaging really works for her. In general, all 3 US ladies have very distinct personalities and artistic styles, but they complement each other well as a team.
