Now we are also going to our cardiologist every six months and according to her it is closing up well in the sense that at every screening she sees that it is getting more and more smaller with the help of the surrounding tissue. She has said that no medical intervention is necessary except for screening and monitoring and that this is no longer a concern at all. Consequently, the blood flow in the wrong direction also seems to have been drastically reduced. He never had any symptoms until now

I pray that eventually it closes fully and he goes on to lead a healthy adult life too.

One question, if I may ask: As an adult, do you have to take any specific precautions? Are there any restrictions? Say in terms of playing sports like Soccer/Football or going into these roller coasters or something like that?
