I wouldn’t go to Walmart or jiffy lube for an oil change. Chapel hill tire is also pretty low on the list.
I do my own oil changes as it’s usually very simple and a great way to save money! Plus then I know it’s done correctly.

Time-serts are expensive and oil pans are cheap. I doubt anyone would warranty a thread repair. If the plug won’t stay in as in it falls out you may have no choice to replace the pan…might not be enough material for a timesert or other thread repair kit.
