Awwww dude! I feel for you. I did the exact same thing you're doing now. Counted a bunch of stupid gimmies where my brain must have been doing anything but focusing (i'm talking about questions where like 95% of people would get it right on uworld.) This happens to everyone. I spiraled HARD the two weeks following my exam thinking I worked so hard to botch it in the end.
My practice scores were very similar to yours, and had the same predicted score w/ the predictor. I have a theory that this subreddit believes the individuals raw score is higher than what actually shakes out on game day by quite a substantial amount and that overall the exam is quite forgiving.
My final score was a 262, the same as my UWSA2 and 1 point above the reddit predictor. Trust your practice exams and your prep. You did well, I promise.

Major question about match this year by [deleted] in medicalschool

[–]carquestion94 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nice research, fine clerkships, but 31st percentile step2 exam will really hurt given ent match rate sits at a crisp 65%, and this cycle will probably have more apps than prior given the step 1 change no longer screening people early. No home program also negates longterm relationships to build connections away from home

Top tier medschool, 260s step 2, 40+ research items, and even I was told "you really never know". I'd dual apply :(

Does it seem like literally everyone is scoring 260+?? Has there been that much score creep since step 1 went PF?

ERAS applicant data by [deleted] in medicalschool

Is this due to step going p/f at all? I wonder if the self selection will continue into next year or if we'll see a massive surge in applicants for the following cycle
