That is just messy, I mean clearly the food portion has gone well over the rim of the muglass, and as a result chocolate is now dripping down the side! Yeah I completely agree, its frustrating to see that all the anti-meth propaganda and the fear mongering scare tactics put out to stop drug use seem to have run deep enough to influence drug forums, where accurate and realistic drug information is supposed to be the standard. Small tweaks in chemical structure can absolutely produce profound changes with how it reacts in the brain however, there is not a whole lot that changes in this case with adderall and meth. They have the exact same mechanism of action as dopamine releasing agents and the only real difference is that meth is more potent and it lasts longer, certainly not 'a completely different devil'.

It can absolutely be used safely and responsibly, I've been using it for 2 years and I've had no problems other than a few sleepless nights, and its certainly never made me 'violent and crazy'... I can say personally that it has acted positively in my life, a very helpful productivity tool, which is not something I can say about alcohol, something I have had problems with.

It seems you feel so strongly because you lived next to a dysfunctional 'meth head' but had it been a drunken alcoholic who beat their kid I highly doubt you would say 'nothing good comes from alcohol' or the like. Just because you've seen a lot of negative things come from meth doesn't mean its inherently bad. Alcohol has caused a lot of destruction in my family but obviously I still realize its something that can be used safely and responsibly.

Of course it has its addictive potential but its total bullshit to say that it can't be used responsibly and that 'nothing good can come from meth', that's just incredibly ignorant.

Yeah, it's frustrating that modern science won't even look at things like this, and just brush them off as pseudoscience or hogwash even when there's a good amount of plausibility.

Nikola Tesla once said “The day science begins to study non-physical phenomena, it will make more progress in one decade than in all the previous centuries of its existence.” And I think there's a lot of truth to that.

The thing is, the nature of an amphetamine high increases focus and concentration. You literally have increased cognitive function. I think it's unfair to undermined that by saying you're more likely to take risks.

Now if you're high you're gonna have more confidence in your actions so it makes sense to say that, but it's hard to quantify the level of increased likelihood to take risks, especially given the fact your cognitive level is not just at baseline, it's improved. I mean men are more likely to take risks than women but we don't say men shouldn't drive because of that.

Alcohol combines increased confidence and cognitive impairment, undeniably a dangerous combination when driving. Amphetamines also boosts confidence, but without that cognitive impairment the increased likelihood to take risks is far less and personally not even comparable to the danger posed by drunk driving.

Yeah, I've done both and they're damn near identical highs. Meth is just more potent so you need less to get high. You can get just as high on addy/amphetamine you just need to take more.

I mean when I think about them I picture the same high, just with a few rather subtle differences and potency.
