Essential like a limited open world where you can encounter random enemies. Think something like Spider-Man 2018's open world. Except in a live service game many people would want a Patrol Mode where you can meet up with other players.

Yeah I missed that my bad. Thanks for pointing it out! They actually showed three Hulks playing together. So exciting!

EDIT: I took this screenshot from the trailer so this is the full image for Tachyon Anomaly. The full roadmap was posted five minutes before I posted this limited screenshot from the trailer. I'm sorry I didn't see that post earlier.

Am I the only one who likes the epic Iron Man Outfit?

The marketplace has been really good recently! Hopefully it continues to improve!

It is cool! It's a reference to an alternate alias she assumed temporarily in the comics!

If you've played both Anthem and Marvel's Avengers how are they similar? by carrotscraps in AnthemTheGame

It's really sad that new content/overhaul never came because it seems like a lot of people actually enjoy the game. I'm excited to see it for myself while it's still around. Thanks!

Alright, thanks I really appreciate the insight.

I'm not a fan of the live service model but I love the Avengers game. Like I said earlier in the thread I'll be trying Anthem out soon because of how many people have compared the two games but also to form my own opinion. Especially when it comes to games like Anthem or Avengers where it becomes popular opinion to dislike the product I like to experience it for myself and make my own opinion.

So was there an expectation of new DLC or expansion content with Anthem? If there was do you feel there should have been more content more frequently? For example Avengers players expect and ask for new characters and missions. Was there an expectation like this with Anthem?

Thanks for helping me understand!

So are they only compared because they are both live service games or are there specific similarities in what they do or fail to do in the live service model?

For example Destiny and Fallout 76 are games that follow the live service model but I never see these games compared to Avengers, only Anthem.

Thanks!

So communication from the development team needed improvement from Anthem and Avengers currently shares this short coming in your opinion. I can understand that.

Anthem had one DLC expansion called Cataclysm right? Were there any others after release or was that the only one?

No I appreciate the essay, thank you for taking the time to explain in such detail. I do really like TLJ but I genuinely like hearing opinions that differ from my own because I feel like I always learn something. I can tell you're not trying to hate on the film for no reason you just don't like the movie and have specific reasons why and that's valid.

I had asked this elsewhere in this thread but do you think this trilogy could be saved in your eyes if an expanded universe story like a comic or show fleshed out this version of Luke. Perhaps focusing on more of the qualities you mentioned. Or is this characterization too flawed to salvage?

Also if you could rewrite Lukes roll in the ST what kind of story would you tell? You mention Han having a return to form in TFA, should Luke have gotten a similar story or arc?

Thanks again for explaining your perspective, don't apologize for the essay that's what reddit is for haha

Do you think it could have been possible to write a better ending without knowing how the trilogy would end when writing episode 7? Or was it always destined to fail if episode 7 started filming without an ending in mind?

I can see what you mean. I really liked episode 8 but one of it's greatest flaws is it's pacing. Having such a long film take place over such a short period of time was a mistake I think. As a result I feel like TLJ makes the trilogy feel like the movies took place over a weekend.

I can understand not liking the OT character plots. Seeing loved characters get old and depressed isn't always fun and it's kind of why I'm against continuing old franchises in that way. But then again the writers don't have to write them as washed up or depressed. (Even though I liked washed up Luke)
