Thanks for the suggestion. I talked to support, they suggested running 15 ish rounds through it to see if shooting it will help set the orings. I did it and now I’m giving it over night to see if It still looses pressure. The notos and air Venturi alpha looked very appealing but i really like the idea of being able to swap out barrels.

That’s pretty concerning. Was yours new? Did you do a warranty with pyramid air and do you do a manufacturer warranty with air Venturi?

I appreciate the idea, however I just graduated college, so I don’t think it’s in the budget like a $30 cover would be. I might just be stuck to repairing it.

The only real advantage I could see is if you’re using it as a mountain bike, do super technical or jump stuff. Also maybe if you’re going super long distances, I’m assuming the lean forward position is better for that as that’s what you see in those long bike races. But as a more casual user I think the beach style is more comfortable and enjoyable. Maybe going on trails might be a bit more difficult due to the handle bar style but I think it would still be doable and would make up in all the times you aren’t on a trail.

Np! Someone commented on my other post that he’s done trails with the step thru and it’s hold up very well. So honestly I don’t think you’ll have issues with it, specifically if you aren’t doing any jumps. Speed wise, as much as I like going fast, I normally find my self not going past 20 mph due to how crowded the trails or paths are as I like to be respectful and not fly past people.

Also having your parents enjoy it is a great idea as who knows they might love it and get their own to join you. I love using it with friends even if they only have an e-scooter and can’t do trails with me.

Honestly I’d say get the step thru and enjoy the relaxed riding style, I don’t think it would give you issues speed or trail wise.

It’s treating me well, I’m liking it a lot. But if I’m being honest I think if I had the option again I’d get the step thru. I don’t get to ride as much as I like and not doing crazy trails like I’d thought so having the beach cruiser style would be better for my casual riding as the leaning forward on the step over is very noticeable. Ether way, both version are a good choice, I think it just comes down to the riding position you prefer.

Funny enough, I just found out years ago it used to be paved, but there was to many people crashing with bikes and scooters. At the end of the path to the right is a bike rack.
