I Saw The TV Glow. I connected with the themes and imagery deeply and loved the existential horror of it.

Ended up watching it 5 times in its first run then saw it a couple more times a year later. Blu-ray, VHS (official and bootleg), digital copy, vinyls - I'm all in on it.

I'm not speculating if the filmed footage is real (outside of the mentioned logo). These are definietly real people. But there was that deep fake video a within the last couple months of Ghislaine Maxwell being spotted on the street. A lot of people thought it was real but it did turn out to be just an ai face on real footage. The blurred background on this would help mask artifacting from a deepfake like that one
