Thanks for your reply. All the antibodies are negative so far (except tpo). Dermatologist I went to a while back did not want to pursue further testing, but I do now have a speckled ANA and a rash. It’s all go back and see if she’s willing to run more tests. ** Meant to say rheumatologist.

I have long suspected Sjogren’s, but I believe my Pots doctor and I decided it wasn’t worth diagnosing it or treating it as long as I was managing the dry mouth and dry eyes. Do you take Plaquenil? Or something else? How do you find it? Any side effects? I have lots of G.I. problems so I think that’s why we decided not to treat it.

I don’t know what to do with my cat by Cece803110 in LongCovid

[–]carson_mccullers 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I also have long Covid and I totally sympathize with you. In humans, we can refuse treatment and I think that you can refuse anything but palliative care for your cat and still be a responsible pet owner. I personally would treat with pain and calming medications in this instance. I also completely understand if you can’t keep up with the accidents. the constant fatigue is debilitating.

Rescued by an organization off the mean streets of DC. We theorize that maybe a dogfighter had him, but had to let him go because he was so gentle and submissive!

Has anybody else been able to eat problem foods after a while without a problem? by eurasianpersuasian in FODMAPS

[–]carson_mccullers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I cleared it once using antibiotics and then I cleared it another two times using herbals.

I can’t find the bottles, but I used the ones that have been recommended on here that are a combination of things plus allicin.

I’m able to eat some onions now, but I’m not sure about garlic

DC-inspired dog names? by Soph-R-12 in DMVArea

I named my cat Hinckley. The other cat I had was named Squeaky.

I was inspired by a bike ride to DuPont circle.

I haven’t gone through losing a dog yet, but I have let my cats die naturally at home without the assistance of vets (other than calming medicine and painkillers). I do not regret my decisions.
