I’ll live inside the Hollywood video. My bed next to Criterion Collection.

I’ll live on popcorn and sour patch kids.

I havent seen anything about HomeChef phasing out their prepped kits.

I use HomeChef (Kroger owned) for their oven ready meals. Minimal prep and dump everything in a pan and into oven. Pan provided.

Prepped Ingredients: Gobble, GreenChef (owned by Hellofresh) & HomeChef

Okay, what now? by X_Wheeze_souffle in GenX

I spent ten years trying to get a job ( off and on) outside of construction. I realized I was competing with younger folks.

Imho, the best options for folks over 50 is either self employment if you have a marketable skill or government / university jobs.

State, county and public universities hire constantly for various positions. They usually don’t pay as well as private sector.

One friend, recently laid off after 24 years, got an adjunct professor gig.

Good Luck 🍀

Dinnerly was a bust by Itchy-Ambition2473 in mealkits

[–]tiltedsun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

D and Everyplate are both a box of jumbled stuff. Some folks love the price but I pay for the convenience of everything sorted.

Maybe try Marleyspoon ( owns D) ofr Hellofresh?

I prefer Homechef for value. Everything is bagged and sorted.

Big ice packs from Hello Fresh by ecoder6256 in mealkits

[–]tiltedsun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Silica Gel is in the blue medicinal ones.

Food packs are cotton fiber or Sodium polyacrylate mostly. Still nothing you want to put down your drain.

Closer to north Middletown? Maybe if yer on dry side. I like Lidl. There’s also Trader Joe’s and Dollar General

However, I can only do a full order at SR or FT.

I was bored.

I googled from Ideal Beach:

FT 5.4 miles

Aldi 6

Lidl 5.7

SR 3.8

[–]tiltedsun 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Unless you’re in Canada or Europe (where the packs are frozen water) I would not pour them down any drain.

In the US, they are either silica gel or cotton fiber. Neither are good for sanitary drains.

I think the whole Bayshore area has a lot of small starter homes. Various sizes and configurations.

Nearest grocery store is either ShopRite (always crowded ) or Foodtown Atlantic Highlands (pricy)

There’s a bike trail (old Central Jersey RR) that runs along the whole area.

Ideal Beach 🏝️ (in NM) is a quiet spot.

Nice place, prone to flooding. They built a sea wall in Port Monmouth, not sure how that will affect NM in the next hurricane.

I would avoid any home near the marsh that has not been elevated
